I'm Not The Protagonist
"Ah... I think I'm dying."
Caiden's final breath escaped him, slumped against the cold, unyielding ground, his lifeblood pooling like the depths of his regret. This damned life. This damned story. And freaking Lorian. The continent's golden hero. The protagonist.
Caiden, once an ordinary man from Earth, now finds himself on Gaia, a world where battles are fought with steel and sorcery. Side by side with Lorian, the hero of the land, Caiden forges bonds, wins battles, and faces impossible odds. But beneath the surface of camaraderie lies a festering pit of envy and despair.
Then, betrayal. Caiden turns against Lorian, and it all comes crashing down.
"Shit..."
As the darkness swallows him, he braces for eternal silence—only to wake up.
Back where it all began.
"... F*ck. Not again."
Now Caiden must navigate his second chance, battling Yokai, rewriting his story, and trying really hard not to betray Lorian again. But when you’re the side character in someone else’s epic tale, the odds are never in your favor.
