Vikings Bishop Heahmund

The Pieces of Myth

The World of Seekers Power isn’t something you’re born with. It’s something you earn. In this world, anyone — no matter their birth, blood, or background — can become a Seeker. All they need to do is accomplish an extraordinary task — an act so intense, that the world itself must take notice. And when that moment comes… the world answers. A Pathway opens. There are six: Rook, Knight, Bishop, Queen, King, and Pawn. The nature of your task determines the Pathway, and the way you acted determines your ability. Each task brings not just power, but a Story — a poetic, cryptic description of what was done and what was gained. And with it, a Story Grade, a measure of how far you pushed the world’s boundaries. No one completes just one task. Power evolves. So must the Seeker. Myth Nyxen is brilliant — so brilliant that despite being born into a society that despises red-eyed people like him, he still earned a place at the most prestigious university in the country. He has the wealth, the looks, the success… but none of it matters. Because deep inside, he’s suffocating. Lonely. Anxious. Drowning in a life that feels too small for the fire burning inside him. His nights are sleepless, his days empty. Depression clings to him like a second skin. He spends his hours staring at ceilings, lost in the weight of inaction. But this isn't weakness. It's his ambition, coiled and waiting. Myth’s pride won’t let him settle for being tolerated. He wants to rise. No — he wants to rule. And he will do anything, absolutely anything, to satisfy that hunger. So step into his world. Become a part of his ambition. --- I am going to post it on RoyalRoad.com

Shattering Humanity

The most eclectic epic ever inspired! "If she feels pain, then I'll make sure you all do..." With the whole globe snowed over, humans are no longer on top of the ladder. A matter creating dragon, and violent crystal/ice aliens, sizes ranging from the average human to towering monsters large enough to squash cities, have forced humanity into various locations of hiding. The chaotic new world gives the opportunity for several members of a manipulative, 8th century witch clan to reveal themselves and save the most meek of humans. Each woman using a form of magic which has secretly coexisted with humanity, to take control of the post-apocalyptic world as Mafia Bosses, Dictators, modern day Conquerors, and other forms of ruling leadership. All in an attempt, not to save humanity, but to prove which is the strongest amongst them. Meanwhile, in the three years after the initial invasion, a few humans have begun to not only fight back against the ice aliens, but some choose to become hosts and acquire unique abilities after slaying one of these bloodthirsty, unconventional extraterrestrials. Shortly before leaving their sanctuary/apocalypse training academy, two friends, Katsu and Saku, are reunited as an academic squad, but the polar opposite personalities are chosen by the last surviving "Creator of Humanity". Both boys 'blessed' as hosts for their universe's contemporary forces and use their "God abilities" to achieve their own (secretly combative) goals. Accompanying them is Shelly, the last surviving descendant to the greatest 'unknown' Scandinavian sword fighter. After being revealed of her destined lineage, and the otherwise "mythical" history of her highly respected grandmother from the Viking/Valkyrie Age, Shelly is determined to retrieve all of her slain grandmother's stolen weapons from the both physically and magically gifted covenant of aforementioned witches. With overpowered witches now trying to gain control over societies, humans gaining powers from the same alien monters who originally threaten them, as well as a secretive psychopath pulling the strings of chaos, in order to save only himself and his precious friend at the end of it all, can love conquer all, or will their love conquer us all? "If you have a beloved purpose you can't live a day without, do you truly have any freedom to live? If you have complete freedom to act however, or say whatever you desire, do you truly have any purpose worth caring about to protect?" ~~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~~~ [All art is not done by AI but by my good friend Amon-kun] ~~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~~~ WARNING/DISCLAIMER: This series uses ætiological mythopoeism to spotlight coincidental parallels between various religious scriptures, and scientific theories but is in no way discrediting or belittling the beliefs of others whether that be Creationist or Evolutionist. Growing up in a land threatened by Viking invaders, her childhood is shaped by tales of courage and resilience passed down through generations. WarLords : Ice Viking's

The cold stone hall was dimly lit with flickering torches. Shadows stretched long across the floor. At the far end of the room, the King sat high on his throne, surrounded by High Lords, Generals, and Counselors. Silence hung thick in the air as the Ice Viking entered. He stood in the center, arms at his side, eyes forward. “Viking,” the King called from his seat. Varnok didn’t move. “Yes,” he replied flatly. One of the High Lords stood up in anger. “In the presence of your King—you kneel!” The knights draws their Swords. Varnok stayed still. “You’re not my king,” he said calmly. The King raised a hand. The knights lowered their swords. “Let him be,” the King said, leaning forward. “Ice Viking… step forward.” Varnok walked slowly across the cold stone floor. “There is war between the Vikings and this kingdom,” the King said. Varnok kept walking. “It’s your kingdom,” he answered. “That has nothing to do with me.” The lords murmured in outrage. “You think they’ll stop there?” the King asked, raising a hand for silence. “You know what those animals are like. Vikings… they don’t stop until they’ve burned everything to ash.” “And yet I’ve protected the village just fine,” Varnok said. “Without your help. Like it’s always been.” “Without my help, there’d be no village to protect,” the King snapped. “There is a village,” Varnok said, meeting his eyes. “And not once have you offered it your help.” “King... please. What an excuse.” The king nodded toward the general standing beside him. Without hesitation, the general stepped forward and struck Varnok across the face. Then a second punch to the stomach. Finally, a heavy kick to the leg. Varnok dropped to one knee. “Good,” the King said, tipping his goblet and pouring wine over Varnok’s head. “Like the animal you are.” Murmurs filled the hall. > "What an animal." "Fits clearly—a dog." "All Vikings should just die." "Disgusting things." The King laughed with joy as he was Pleased by the words of the people. He leaned forward again, with his voice low. “Maybe we should start with your wife… and child.” The room fell into a deadly stillness. Varnok’s eyes snapped open—glowing bright, ice-blue. A shiver cut through the entire hall. The ground began to vibrate. Goblets trembled. Torches flickered lower. Then came his voice—cold, deep, inhuman. Like the cracking of ancient glaciers. “If a single breath so much as brushes their skin…” “I will bring down such ruin upon this kingdom that even the crows will starve for lack of flesh. I will freeze your rivers. Silence your bells. And watch your palace rot from the inside—As your screams echo in halls no one dares enter. Pray your tongue forgets their names… before I remember yours.” No one moved everywhere was silent. Even the air seemed too afraid to stir.

UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT Memorandum TO: Mr. DeLoach FROM: R. E. Wick DATE: 12/28/66 SUBJECT: CONGRESSMAN H. R. GROSS (R-IOWA) DOCTOR RE LETTER BEING SENT TODAY ELECTRONIC EAVESDROPPING Clark Mollenhoff, Washington Bureau of the "Des Moines Register and Tribune," today telephonically advised Bishop in my office that he has learned from Congressman Gross' office that the Congressman is going to send a letter to Mr. Hoover, probably dated today, in reply to the Director's letter to him of 12/7/36 wherein the Director set forth the true facts, supported with documentation, concerning the approval of the Attorney General for the use of electronic eavesdropping techniques by the FBI. Mollenhoff said he has ascertained Congressman Gross' letter will advise the Director that after careful study of the Director's letter and its enclosures, Congressman Gross is convinced the FBI utilized electronic eavesdropping techniques only upon the specific approval of the Attorney General and the Department of Justice. In his letter Congressman Gross will also make reference to the case of Otto F. Otepka, former chief, Division of Evaluations, Office of Security, State Department, which received considerable publicity after hearings on his dismissal from the State Department were held by the Senate Internal Security Subcommittee. It will be recalled that Otepka's position in the State Department was to evaluate and make decisions with regard to individuals employed by the State Department who possibly could be security risks. When the Administration became unhappy about the number of persons being declared security risks by Otepka, John F. Reilly, who was then an attorney in the Department of Justice under Bobby Kennedy, was transferred to the State Department as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Security, and thus became Otepka's boss. The purpose of Reilly's going to the State Department was to check up on Otepka. Reilly proceeded to put microphones in Otepka's telephones and to place a "bug" in his office. This was finally disclosed to the public in hearings before the Senate Internal Security Subcommittee. In spite of this, after Otepka was dismissed by the State Department, Reilly was rewarded for his work by being appointed by the Administration to a high position in the Federal Communications Commission. Congressman Gross is going to cite in his letter to the Director the Otepka case as another instance where Bobby Kennedy was aware of the utilization of electronic eavesdropping techniques and certainly approved their use. Clark Mollenhoff also advised that Congressman Gross will conclude his letter to Mr. Hoover by asking that Mr. Hoover keep him advised of any additional developments with regard to electronic eavesdropping. Mollenhoff stated his information is that Congressman AI responses may include mistakes.

(Hiatus) Ragnarök: The Fimbulwinter Saga

ON HIATUS. Will pick it up later. __________________ Ragnarök, a word with more than one meaning. For some, it is the end of everything, the End War, the Fall of the Norse Gods. For others, however, it is the beginning of a new Era brought upon by the wielder of the ancient power Fimbulwinter passed down to the most worthy amongst the Jötuns, the frost giants. But with the death of its previous host, Fimbulwinter is transferred to Loki Jökul, the son of a Viking father and a Frost Giant mother. To escape the watchful eyes of Odin, Loki's soul is transferred to another body in another world far from the nine realms, Gleymaheim. But was it the safest decision? Gleymaheim is a world engulfed in the flames of war. Everyday, the inhabitants struggle to survive against beings coming out of Portals leading to somewhere unknown. Thus begins a new Saga. ____________________________________________________ Disclaimer: - The characters in this fiction are imaginary. - The Old Norse Mythology used in this book won't necessarily be the same one that you know of. - Unlike my other novel, I'll try to keep this more within the trends, but in my own way. - Compare to my other work, this one will have a softer magic system, if you've read my other work you'll understand what I mean. - Update will be slow for now because I need to focus on my other novel. But they'll pick up in two weeks. ____________________________________________________ Do check out my other work: "Return of the Woodcutter" I promise that you won't regret it ;) (At least I hope you won't.) ____________________________________________________

The Life of a highschool Girl in a deserted island

What was supposed to be a simple school camping trip turns into something far stranger when Aiko, a cold and composed high school girl from 2025, suddenly vanishes—only to awaken on a mysterious island in the middle of the ocean. There’s no sign of rescue. No clue how she got there. And only three other people in sight. But these men are no ordinary strangers. One is a fierce Viking warrior who speaks in guttural tones of an ancient Norse tongue. Another, a proud nobleman fluent in Latin, carries himself with the rigid poise of a forgotten empire. The last, a smooth-talking gentleman from the 1900s, speaks English with a clipped, old-world accent. Aiko herself only speaks modern Japanese—yet somehow, they all understand each other perfectly. Drawn from wildly different timelines, none of them know why they’re here or who brought them. "Where is this? What trickery is this?" the Viking growled, his massive hand tightening around his axe as he scanned the unfamiliar jungle. His nostrils flared, scenting the salt-heavy air. "If this is Helheim’s gate, I’ll carve my way back." "Is this some kind of sorcery?" the nobleman mused, his gloved fingers brushing the hilt of his rapier. A smirk played on his lips. "If you sought to trap me, witch, you should have chosen a more enticing hell." His gaze flicked to Aiko, lingering on the curve of her exposed thigh. "Is this… some kind of prank?" the 1900s man stammered, adjusting his spectacles as if the world might right itself if he looked hard enough. His pocket watch clicked uselessly in his palm. "I—I was just leaving the gentlemen’s club! This isn’t—this can’t—" a Lemon filled Story. (all characters are over 18)
