Soul Hunting
"Breakfast is ready, honey!"
—— One second before my "wife" killed me.
Alex Foster thought he was just an ordinary salesman at Oak Academy, until he was killed countless times by his "wife".
"What are the benefits of being killed? At least I know how many ways a human can die, and I don't have to worry about marriage problems anymore."
Every time he was resurrected, Alex found himself with a creepy "ability" — he could see Specters that ordinary people couldn't perceive. These were supernatural beings lurking on the fringes of human society, with distorted forms.
"Doctor, your scalpel is quite shiny. By the way, a normal person's arm shouldn't bend like a spider's leg."
When Alex discovered that Oak Academy, where he worked, overlapped in space with an ancient mental hospital, he was drawn into a conspiracy beyond his imagination. His colleagues disappeared one after another, and he could see those terrifying beings in charge of the "clean - up work".
"Sarah Bennett has a great figure. So, judging by her amount of flesh, it will take the Specter at least three minutes to eat her. Don't worry, we still have time to escape."
"Alex! What the hell are you talking about?!"
Now, Alex has to navigate among the FBI's Paranormal Investigation Department, the Church of Light, and the mysterious Ace Society, looking for a way to become a Soul Hunter. After all, he has an unfinished task — to make the "wife" who killed him eighteen times taste the same pain.
"In this world, not being able to see is actually a blessing. Unfortunately, I've seen too much."
