Even If It Hurts

It’s not even my second life!

At least you must have imagined what it would be like, if you could live your life over again. Right? I'm not a hypocrite, so I've imagined it a few times. This time I got the opportunity like the protagonist of those Japanese novels that I often read. The problem is this is not “my” second chance at life. --- So, dear readers, the initial idea of this novel is: What if you woke up in an anime world? Not just the people, but even the logic of the world itself is different. For example, why do some beautiful women have a flower effect appearing around them when you look at their faces? Or how can someone who is extremely overweight make rapid muscle gains with just a little exercise? Here, our main character will experience a clash of concepts between the reality of this world and the logic of our own as he navigates daily life—one filled with comedy and intriguing moments (at least, I hope to make you feel that way!). As the title suggests, this is a story about a second life—but the twist is that it’s not the MC’s second life, but rather the body of a ghost burdened with many regrets, known as Mr. G. This is where the MC is tested, as he must help resolve the unresolved issues of Mr. G—problems that naturally involve the other characters in the story, from family and classmates to matters of love. Because I love classic visual novels, I plan to introduce many characters, each with their own unique traits and personal stories. So what are you waiting for? If you're interested, come and read! If you enjoy the story, I truly appreciate it and would be grateful if you could recommend this novel to your friends. If you don’t like it, I can only apologize for not meeting your expectations. Lastly, I’d love to hear any criticism or suggestions to help improve the quality of this novel for future enjoyment! That’s all from me—please enjoy the story!

Faking it Till They Make It

This is not your average rom-com plot; there is so much more to this. Ava is a driven marketing executive who happens to be fiercely independent and in control. Ethan, on the other hand, is a successful entrepreneur who prides himself on being sharp-witted and a strategic thinker. Their plan, perfectly planned with strategic social media posts and strategically scheduled "dates," is at first without flaw. But as they navigate awkward family dinners, increasingly elaborate lies, and the unexpected consequences of their charade, the line between fiction and reality begins to blur. That perfectly built world of Ava and Ethan gets threatened the moment Ava's charming yet manipulative ex-boyfriend and Ethan's ambitious, cutthroat business rival appear. The situation is further made precarious by adding intrigue and conflict to an already delicate situation. Transmuted : Love of an Evening

[ Lynn, Sam and Mahone ] I put my t-shirt down, my hands shaking. I try to ignore them and stare at my reflection in the mirror. My hair color is dark brown and a vague hint of golden. My dad used to say that my eyes are ocean blue. A guy in my history class once said that I had perfect lips. Another guy said that I had a great body. They wanted to date me. And I dated few of them, too. I brush my fingers in my forehead. Then my dark, thick eyelashes. The side of my nose. My lips. I run my hand at my neck, then across my collarbone. Am I beautiful? Honestly, I don't know. Maybe I'm not. "You were wrong, Samlin Greenham." A voice inside my head suddenly whispers. "Calm down, Sammy," another voice whispers. It's the voice I loved. His voice is fading away. My hands start shake again, my breath rapidly quickening. I am losing control. I have to do something. "Goddammit!" I punch the mirror with my fist. It shatters into thousand pieces. My reflection has shattered into thousand pieces, too. The mirror now looks to me like an art. And my bloody knuckles. "I am sorry, Lynn. I can't promise you anymore, because you left me." I bite my lip to stop myself from crying. I won't cry. What's the point of crying? My sixth sense is suddenly alert. Somebody is watching me. I spin around. A guy is standing in front of the door, leaning against it. He wears a tight blue shirt, the sleeves folded. His black hair is ruffled and his hands are folded across his chest. The probable most amazing thing about him is his eyes. They are dark green. They are dangerous, beautiful and incredibly unreadable. And they are watching me.
