[DC X Marvel: AU] Pryde: The Red Queen
Mutants, or as they have come to be known as Meta-Humans, are people who are seen by some as the next step in human evolution, and as time passes, more and more of them become known.
There are those with good intentions, bad intentions, and those with none.
As unpredictable as creatures' humans tend to be, it was rather predictable that the Meta-humans would attempt to take control of everything in the far future.
So, in acts of revenge, some seek to rid the world of all Meta-humans, going to the past to rid the world of every one of them... Not knowing the past they find themselves in is much different than their own...
Katherine Anne "Kitty" Pryde, is quite normal, yet the gem of her family. After graduating from high school early, she leaves her home of Deerfield, Illinois to pursue University in Metropolis.
Living in a city surrounded by superhero conflict is new to her, the daily struggles, and the constant risks. It all scares and worries her, yet she also finds them strangely amazing.
Putting that aside, however, she attends her classes without worry, making a friend, while getting used to life in Metropolis.
But a streak of headaches and a deadly attack reveal to her, that she is far from normal, and that she is far from human.

This story is an AU, so be aware that there is no particular storyline that is being followed, nor will all information be similar to certain stories.
Other than that I will also be mixing some characters and factions from Marvel to add more to the story, such as Marvel vampires, and with them Blade, as I quite like Blade and his vampires and think they are pretty neat.
Rachel Summers, and of course our protagonist Kitty Pryde will be in this story.
Although not certain, I am of the thought process of adding the X-Men within this story, while also slightly altering the way Meta-humans are treated in DC. There won't be a major amount of hate and disdain as the Mutants of Marvel receive, but there will be disdain and hate.
Most characters in the story do exist in either DC or Marvel, if they are major characters in the story then they are existing characters, if you don't recognize them, that's simply because they aren't particularly popular.
This story changes things, so don't come here expecting something to only get another.
