The Romantic Trials Of A Transmigrated Empress

After meeting an unfortunate death on earth, Sigrid unwillingly transmigrated into a novel world becoming Lady Sigrid Thorin the unwanted wife of the crown prince. She resigned herself to her fate and set a goal to become the empress. But to become the future empress, she had to gain the heart of her husband_the foul tempered Prince Roland Maximus a man that loathed her and would sooner kill her than kiss her. While his heart was too thin for her to squeeze into, it was rather wide for the woman he brought home on returning from a three month expedition, a woman he had sworn to protect forever. The same woman Sigrid was on a mission to destroy, an irreconcilable enemy. With misunderstandings, scheming and jealousy, thus begun Sigrid's trials to win the heart of the man that had undeniably captivated her with his dazzling smile and her mission step over the fake female lead, be crowned empress and change her fate. Excerpt. "A knife to the throat of your husband that has just returned from war, what do you hope to accomplish crown princess?" Sigrid's eyes trailed down, to the silver blade pressed against her abdomen, she raised her head and laughed snidely. "A knife to the belly of your wife as soon as you return from war, other men start by saying, honey i am home. They also don't bring home unwanted canaries as presents for their wives." Roland leaned down with a part smug and part angry smoldering look in his eyes. It was if he wished to set her on fire, and not in the passionate way. "Honey i am home." he slowly said, dragging the words out. Sigrid trailed the knife slowly over his neck, almost as if she was caressing it with her fingers. "Welcome back, i hope you don't mind but i intend to kill that canary. If you want to bring me a gift next time, try gold and diamonds. I can also accept you, just wrap a ribbon around your bare chest."

Blood Moon Rising: Wolf Princess at the Shifter Academy

(Warning! Mature Content!) With the moon as my only guide, I scamper through the sand and into the tent my two guards, Ryland and Aren share. Ryland, still awake, rolls over onto his side and props his head up on his hand, watching me awkwardly trip into the tent with amused eyes. “Are you okay?” Aren shifts in his sleep and then slowly opens his eyes. “Ora?” He grumbles. “What are you doing here?” “I heard a weird noise.” I bite my lip and blush at the lame excuse. “A weird noise?” Aren asks curiously, then a grin spreads across his face. “Did you come here so we could protect you from the scary noises?” He teases. “Well it is our job to keep our lady safe.” Ryland states and then reaches out to me. His warm hands wrap around my waist and pull me down to lay next to him. He spoons me and I look over at Aren who lies facing me just inches away. “You’re safe will us, so go back to sleep.” Ryland rests his head on his pillow and closes his eyes. I try to relax for a few minutes, but I can’t get my brain to calm down. “Aren?” Aren groans in response. “Yeah?” “Are you awake?” He cracks his eyes open and looks at me. “I am now. Why can’t you sleep?” “I can’t seem to relax.” “Do you want to chat for a bit to help you calm down?” Aren asks me. “Yeah that sounds nice.” I reply, but before I can say anything else, Ryland’s strong arm shifts and his large hand reaches down between my thighs. “Ryland, what are you doing?” I ask nervously. “I’m helping you relax.” He whispers into my ear. I gulp. “We can’t. Someone will hear us.” Rylands voice softly grazes across my ear. “We’ll just have to be really quiet then.” I glance over to see Aren's eyes darkening with need. ================== ================== Long ago, the Moon Goddess descended from heaven to the earthly plane and gifted animals with the ability to shift into a human form. Midnight bride

The moonlight spilled through the canopy of the dark forest, casting an eerie glow on the man lounging against an ancient tree. Morris was impossibly handsome—too handsome to be real. His sharp jawline, framed by tousled black hair, was shadowed by the flicker of firelight in his golden eyes. He swirled a goblet of wine lazily in his hand, his lips curved into a devilish smirk. Elowen froze, captivated. He looked like a prince from a forbidden story, but something in the air warned her he was no mortal. “Lost, little lamb?” His voice was velvet, dark and smooth, wrapping around her like a spell. “I was...just—” she stammered, but he stood in one fluid motion, closing the distance between them. “Just wandering into my domain,” he interrupted, his tone teasing yet dangerous. “How bold of you.” His gaze raked over her, and her heart pounded under the weight of his attention. “You shouldn’t be here,” he murmured, stepping closer until she could feel the heat radiating from him. “Do you know who I am?” She shook her head, her throat dry. “I am Morris,” he said, his voice dropping to a low, seductive growl. “The devil. The one your kingdom fears, the one your priests curse. And now,” he leaned in, his golden eyes glowing like embers, “you’ve wandered straight into my hands.” The shadows around him seemed to ripple with his amusement as a smirk played on his lips. He extended a hand, his voice both a command and an invitation. “Come closer, Elowen. Let me show you what happens when innocence meets the devil.”

Rays of Us

In the dystopian city of Rylos, where the government dictates love through a behavioral score-based lottery, Nico Knight is a man who’s always gotten what he wants. A nightclub tycoon with a reputation, he’s never had to answer to anyone until the lottery pairs him with Odalis, a quiet librarian with an air of calm that feels almost too controlled. To Nico, Odalis is a puzzle of a woman too ordinary, too unremarkable to pique his interest. But there’s something about her stillness that begins to intrigue him. Beneath the surface, he senses a storm she’s carefully hiding. Nico finds himself questioning whether he really knows what he wants or if his true challenge lies in the mystery of Odalis herself. (Sneak peak scene) Nico slouched on the couch, drunk, eyes fixed on Odalis as she read, the quiet hum of the room wrapping around them like a soft cocoon. Nico: You know, I never imagined a woman like you would be in my life. Quiet, composed... not my taste. Odalis (without looking up): And what did you imagine? Nico: Someone like me. Loud. Reckless. Odalis: Sorry for the disappointment. He blinked, his eyelids heavy, the pull of sleep growing stronger. Nico: “You’re like... an angel, in the wrong place.” His head dropped back, surrendering to sleep. Odalis glanced at him, a faint smile playing at her lips. Odalis (whispering): “You’re wrong, Nico Knight. Maybe the wrong place is exactly where I need to be.” She tucked him in, the soft rustle of fabric the only sound, and returned to her book. The silence between them now felt strangely comfortable.

The Ring Of Consistency

As the author of this book I should give a fair warning: the first chapters are a scam!! Okay, let me explain. The character that you most likely think is the protagonist, is not the protagonist. Why? Honestly, idk, I just felt like doing it. Makes the story feel more realistic and approachable because every character is worth something. The story follows a male lead, Ju Min-Jung, who at one point in his life was a normal middle-aged man from Korea. He gets transmigrated to a world called Einar as Lychipher Klein in which becoming quote-unquote a "god", is not just possible, but relatively common. Years have gone by in a flash and Lychipher has enjoyed a simple and laid-back life, going by the nickname of Whiskey. The story starts when a contracted guild summons the lovecraftian inspired eldritch entity known as Dietrich, which fragmented itself into several variants born from chosen women. The fragments each have the distinct feature of white hair and can be released when the variant is killed. When all the variants are killed each fragment will be fused allowing Dietrich to form in Einar. This quickly escalates into family feuds, mystery, mystism and the occult. Questions emerge perpetually the instant one is answered, mysterious forces are at work pulling the strings behind closed curtains and fate seems to be the greatest for of all.... What to expect: Firstly is the world of Einar. It's a world entirely fictional so don't try to wrap your head around the timeline because I honestly just smashed several themes that I liked together. Originally, I chose for late 16th century baroque and renaissance, but later I also added elements of the western victorian era, the wild west and more. Now the next thing to expect is probably not something you'll appreciate much, and that is slow pacing. I know, I know —you're probably screaming "whyyy!?". But it's best for the story to play out the way it should, ya' know- instead of rushing it. Besides, going for a mysterious factor demands slow pacing because otherwise the mystery is short-lived.
