Purah Pad Research Lab

The Labyrinth Keys

In the sprawling waste zones of Ashfield, a city choked by the refuse of a broken society, Jack Vesper sorts through discarded junk with no real future in sight. At 25, he's just another misfit, another person tossed aside by the world, now working a grueling job as a garbage sorter. The days are monotonous, but when he stumbles upon a strange, black metal sphere buried deep in the trash, everything changes. Curious, Jack presses a hidden button on the sphere, releasing a small black chip into his hand. It feels heavy with mystery and potential, too precise to be just another piece of discarded tech. With no one else around on a slow Saturday shift, Vesper pockets the chip and continues his work, unaware that this seemingly insignificant object is about to pull him into a new, dangerous world. Jack's curiosity gets the better of him, and he travels to a long-forgotten lab on the outskirts of the city. The lab, once a hub for cutting-edge research, is now abandoned, its halls lined with old maps, blueprints, and cryptic notes. As he begins to study the charts, he discovers a book of labyrinths spanning the globe-labyrinths not just made of stone, but of technology and power, their existence hidden from the world. Some of these labyrinths hold secrets of unimaginable value; others, unfathomable dangers. The chip seems to be a key-a gateway into these labyrinths. As Jack begins to piece together the labyrinth's secrets, he realizes that it could lead him to a power unlike anything the world has ever known. But with that power comes the threat of those who would stop at nothing to control it. The line between friend and foe blurs, and Vesper must navigate not only the physical maze but the twisted web of secrets and lies surrounding him. The adventure begins with one small chip-and the future depends on what Jack discovers within the labyrinth's depths.

(BL)Alpha Made

The world is diverse and flourishing. Humanity has changed, and with it, brought in a new era of prosperity. Males and females still exist, but the spectrum from which humanity is cast has broadened. With the introduction of alpha, omega, and beta, humanity has evolved even further. In such a word, Dr. Andrew Knox, known environmental researcher, is happy being a beta male. It has made his life easier by being middle ground, and as much as some wish he was one way or the other, he’s happy being who he is. Thriving even. He works in a world renowned research facility. He makes friends easily, and his projects are always funded. He even found someone who he thinks he could end up marrying if things continue in the right direction. That, and the vacant house next to his apartment building gets bought by a new neighbour. A cute, but cautious omega who relies on Andrew as a beta for help. Andrew couldn’t be happier. He loves being a helper, and loves when people rely on him. All in all, Andrew really thinks he has everything made. That is, until a research project with shoddy data is thrown back into his face that he has no recollection of working on, and all of his reputation disintegrates in between one heartbeat and the next. Heartbroken, it isn’t until Andrew wakes up, chained to a wall that everything becomes clear. He becomes a test subject to one of the scientists that he trusted. That he expected would never harm him. The life he had known, where he was a respected researcher was ripped out from underneath him. His identity and everything he’s ever known is stolen from him from a crazed researcher who he had trusted, maybe even loved. He has to relearn who he is, what he is, from scratch. Thankfully, he has one person in his corner. He just never expected to have to rely on someone whose shoulders were so small. This is an a/b/o story, and will have those tropes associated with it. I hope you enjoy :)

Creed: World’s Strongest

“You’ve been researching for years with nothing to show for it. Why not try something else?” Samia’s tone was sharp, but there was a thread of concern beneath it as she leaned against the doorframe. The room smelled faintly of sterilizing agents, and the rhythmic clicking of keys filled the silence. Dr. Elias didn’t respond immediately. Dressed in his lab coat, he stared at the screen with unwavering focus, his fingers flying over the keyboard. When he finally turned to her, a slow, almost unsettling smile spread across his face. For a moment, he looked like any other scientist lost in his work—until he blinked. The motion was unnatural, his eyelids sliding horizontally across his eyes like a lizard’s. “Samia,” he said, his voice calm but electric with excitement, “I’ve figured it out. This time, it will work.” She opened her mouth to respond, but he was already on his feet, moving past her with an urgency that demanded she follow. They made their way through the sterile corridors of the facility, the fluorescent lights overhead casting a cold glow on the walls. The reinforced chamber was a stark contrast to the rest of the building. Thick steel doors hissed as they opened, and the hum of machinery grew louder as they stepped inside. In the center of the room stood a massive contraption—a web of wires, tubes, and blinking monitors surrounding a sleek, cylindrical core. “What is it this time?” Samia asked, her arms crossed tightly against her chest. Dr. Elias didn’t answer. Instead, he moved with practiced precision, attaching cables and adjusting dials. The air felt heavier here, charged with the anticipation of something monumental—or catastrophic. “Get your goggles,” he said at last, stepping behind the protective glass. He tapped the side of his goggles, the lenses catching the faint blue glow of the machine. Samia hesitated. She had seen him fail before. Years of promises and miscalculations had made her wary, but there was something different in his demeanor this time—something unsettlingly confident. Reluctantly, she turned and jogged back to the lab to retrieve her goggles. The first explosion hit when she was halfway down the hall. The floor bucked beneath her, and she stumbled, her heart leaping into her throat. A deep, resonating boom echoed through the building, followed by a blaring alarm. “Dr. Elias!” she shouted, spinning around. Smoke and dust billowed toward her, and the acrid scent of burning wires filled the air. Part of the ceiling had collapsed, cutting off her path back to the reinforced chamber. And then she saw it. Through the swirling haze, a glowing orb hovered in the wreckage, pulsating with a light that seemed alive. It started small, no bigger than her fist, but it was growing—expanding with an eerie, deliberate rhythm. The hum it emitted was low and bone-deep, vibrating through the air and into her chest. “No, no, no,” she muttered, backing away. Every instinct screamed at her to run. She turned and bolted for the exit, her shoes skidding on the slick floor as she raced against the inevitable. She had barely reached the stairwell when a second explosion ripped through the building. The force of it threw her forward, and she hit the ground hard. Her vision blurred as heat and light engulfed her. Somewhere in the distance, she heard the structure groan as it gave way entirely. Then, everything went black.

Mech Wars The Rise of the Hero in Exile

Against the backdrop of a vast and magnificent cosmic war, the Leray Federation and the Gacharin Empire are locked in a fierce confrontation. Tian Kaiwen, a soldier of the Federation, is a plump mechanical repairman with a rather unknown "dark history"—twenty" -one records of desertion. However, the gears of fate turned subtly, and by a stroke of coincidence, he was brought into the 7th Laboratory of the Galiparan Military Academy. In this mysterious laboratory, Tian Kaiwen quickly integrated with the researchers by virtue of his outstanding talent in mechanical repair. He was highly proficient in the repair of various damaged mechas and weapons. With his sweet talking and amiable personality, he won the affection of everyone. Milan, a researcher in the laboratory, is a twenty - year - old beauty with remarkable scientific talent. Despite her astonishing research capabilities, she is somewhat lacking in practical operation skills. She set her sights on the idle Tian Kaiwen and recruited him to participate in her research. In Milan's research room, Tian Kaiwen witnessed a transforming mecha—a great invention in the history of mechas. Its unique bio-state metal material left him greatly astonished. Meanwhile, the cruel war raged on the Milock Star. The Gacharin Empire intensified its ground offensive, and the air power of the Leray Federation was severely damaged. The connections between cities were severed, and many areas fell into enemy hands. Nevertheless, the federal soldiers resisted tenaciously, and underground resistance organizations emerged like sparks of fire. In order to reclaim the Newton Galaxy, the Federation assembled its fleet for a strong offensive. The Newton Galaxy local fleet, as the vanguard, suffered heavy losses but successfully broke through the blockade, opening up a passage for the follow-up troops. Meanwhile, in the laboratory, Tian Kaiwen made full use of the rich resources of the central computer, frantically learning various skills, from psychology to the assassin's invisibility techniques and various military tutorials. He absorbed knowledge avidly, constantly improving himself. As time went by, Professor Boswell's research on the simulated war network entered a crucial stage. Tian Kaiwen participated in it, being responsible for data calculation and the production of simulation cabins. When this simulated war network named "Real War" was completed and opened, Tian Kaiwen remained undefeated in three hundred simulated battles by virtue of the unique tactics he had accumulated during training, thus becoming the "sneaky leader" in the eyes of everyone. Later, Nia and Meiduo, who had escaped from the battlefield with Tian Kaiwen, found him. It turned out that their battlefield recorders had been taken away by the imperial army, and Tian Kaiwen's disappearance prevented them from returning to their units. After learning that the person Nia was looking for was Tian Kaiwen, Milan informed her of his whereabouts. Eventually, the front-line command post retrieved the information from Tian Kaiwen's battlefield recorder. Although his desertion records were astonishing, the large amount of data on the imperial army's weapons and mechas contained therein, as well as key information such as his setting up of a remote-controlled energy cannon outside New Rome, made everyone realize that he might be a crucial figure in turning the tide of the war. His fate thus became closely intertwined with the war situation of the Federation, and in this universe filled with flames of war and challenges, he was writing his own legendary chapter.
