There may be some heavy stuff thrown in to the story, but it is generaly advised to read the "series" while not thinking too much about what you are reading. Everything that is written in the story is generally meant to be entertaining and insulting anyone's life or their life choices are not the goal of the "series". (For an example: There is two instances of people ending their lives by their own hands in the first chapter. Though not heavily talked about, the reaction from the MC to the second one may feel disturbing or disrespectful to some audience.)
