Planet 236, a world steeped in mysteries, where tales of vampires linger as ancient superstitions among ordinary humans. Andrew Felix, the righteous yet troublesome son of a police officer, is Rose’s polar opposite, a school bully with a secret crush on her. Admiring the school president and number-one beauty from afar, Felix knows their worlds are irreconcilably different. But everything changes when Rose becomes the target of an assassination attempt: a car crafted from condensed carbon metal, designed to neutralize vampires, hurtles toward her. Acting on instinct, Felix throws himself in harm's way, saving Rose but leaving himself fatally injured.

Two weeks later, Felix awakens in the hospital. Overwhelmed with anticipation, Rose rushes to confirm his transformation into a vampire, only to be crushed by disappointment, Felix shows no reaction to vampire blood. Convinced her attempt failed, Rose resigns herself to her shame.
But Felix's true transformation reveals itself when Rose is ambushed by rival vampires from a rival house. Desperate and on the brink of death, her cries for help awaken something dormant in Felix. Across a great distance, he senses her peril and comes to her rescue. In an explosive display of power, Felix manifests the legendary Crimson Aura, a rare and formidable vampire lineage thought to be extinct, one that serves as the backbone of every royal family.
For Rose, her gamble has paid off beyond her wildest dreams. Felix is no ordinary vampire, he is her salvation, her ally, and the one who will change the fate of the Rose house forever.
