There Is No Peace Among The Stars

Into the stars

It all began in the grim aftermath of a devastating mech war on the desolate planet Virelia-7. The battlefield stretches endlessly beneath twin suns, littered with the ruined remains of massive mechanical titans and fallen warriors. Amid this vast graveyard of steel and death, a lone 15-year-old boy awakens—injured, disoriented, and alone. His body is battered, his clothes tattered, and his memory is gone. He doesn’t know his name, where he came from, or what side he fought for. All he remembers is the sky. Around him, war machines lie shattered, their pilots still strapped in their death positions. Clan insignias—the lion’s head torn in half and the twin-bladed wing—decorate broken steel, but they mean nothing to him. He wanders the wreckage in confusion, haunted by the stillness of it all, until hunger drives him into action. Strange scavenger creatures called Black Ravines pick at the corpses. Birdlike in shape but entirely alien, with bone-hooked limbs and oily feathers, they feast on the dead without fear. Desperate, the boy tries to hunt one but fails. On instinct, he plays dead, and when one comes close, he kills it with a shard of mech metal and devours it raw, choking through nausea to survive. Unbeknownst to him, his mind is fractured into three entities:1) The Amnesiac Self – the current version of him, living moment to moment on raw survival instinct. 2) The Aggressive Voice – violent, impulsive, and bloodthirsty. It tempts him to surrender control for power. 3) The Calculative Voice – cold, brilliant, and tactical. It watches from within, feeding him strategic thoughts and survival data when he’s close to death.

Citizen Among the Stars- I have a system that lets me make ships?!?!

The sky over Karvess was the color of rust. Thick, swirling dust clouds hung low over the scrap fields, coating everything in a layer of fine, red powder. Jagged heaps of broken metal stretched as far as the eye could see, the discarded bones of an age long past. Somewhere in the middle of it all, a boy named Grant sat atop a gutted transport hull, staring up at the vastness above. "Same old sky," he muttered, running a hand through his dirty blond hair. "Same old nothing." It had been six years since he'd been left to fend for himself, abandoned in this wasteland of shattered starships and forgotten tech. Six years of scraping by, salvaging parts to trade for food, dodging scavengers meaner and hungrier than he was. But today was different. Today, his life would change forever. A sharp hum filled the air, making the fine hairs on the back of his neck stand up. His hands, buried in the exposed circuitry of a wrecked cockpit, tingled as the old display flickered to life. Then, a voice spoke. -System activated- Hello, user. I am the Star Navigator System. I am at your service. Grant froze. His heart hammered against his ribs. This wasn’t just any old ship AI. Star Navigators were rumored to be relics of the Pre-Imperial Era, capable of piloting ships faster and smarter than any modern system. This... this could be his way out. "Star Navigator System?" Grant echoed, his voice barely above a whisper. Then, a slow grin spread across his face. "Huh, maybe I can get into the Academy with this... Or even, create an army!" The screen pulsed with light, scanning him, assessing. Somewhere in its code, something shifted, acknowledging him as its new pilot. And just like that, Grant's future stretched wide before him—wider than the skies, wider than the stars themselves.

The Hero Who Chose Peace

Fifteen years ago, Asahi Ryuuji was just a humble farmer and martial arts enthusiast from Earth—until he was transported to another world and gifted with an extraordinary power known only as the [Gift of the World]. Chosen as humanity’s last hope, he fought endlessly across kingdoms, ravaged battlefields, and against time itself. And finally, he did the unthinkable: he defeated the Demon Lord and his four strongest generals in a single, world-shaking battle. But victory didn’t bring him peace. Haunted by the countless lives he ended—even those of monsters—Asahi vanished from the world he saved. No grand parades. No goodbyes. No crown. He retreated to the most dangerous and uncharted island in the realm, where nature is wild, magic is ancient, and dragons still roam. There, he began a new life—one of soil, silence, and healing. Now 35 years old, Asahi farms quietly, surrounded by beasts most would flee from, and seeks only the comfort of growing things and listening to the wind. But the world hasn't forgotten him. Neither has she. Elysia—the Dragon Queen, strongest of her kind and ruler of skies—descends upon his island, not with fire or fury, but with understanding. Having watched from afar as Asahi sacrificed everything, she comes not to drag him back to glory, but to stay... by his side. This is not the story of battles and heroes. It is the story of what happens after the final war. Of quiet mornings, shared meals, and slowly blooming love. Of a man learning how to live again.
