The more he interacted with the man, the more confusing things became for Sorn. He was reluctant to admit that being friends with him wasn't entirely unpleasant. Eventually, when Ralf revealed his past, Sorn became more convinced that meeting his sister was a goal worth pursuing. Even so, he couldn't truly believe that his sister was still alive, as Ralf claimed. The memory of watching her get eaten by a horde of zombies was still fresh in his mind. "I promise I'll bring your sister back. Before your birthday comes, you'll see her right in front of you. Will you trust me?"
