The 13th Kingdom: Reincarnation

That Time They Reincarnated a Rapper.   The 13th Kingdom: Reincarnation is a Western take on the Eastern isekai genre, where soul-stirring combat and skills meet the raw grit of artistry. Xiro Mikazuki isn’t your typical overpowered hero. Reborn on the planet Gaia, he’s a former musician, a soul battered by the grind of failed dreams and corporate greed. Now, he’s thrust into a world where power flows through magical arts, and the rhythm of battle is as much about creativity as it is about dominance. In this world, M-Cees (Mana Controllers) harness mana to perform Mana Arts and Skills. Xiro isn’t just reincarnated—he’s redefined. Armed with a Sonata Soul Core and two rare Vessel Skills—[Moon Sage: Tsukuyomi] and [Midnight Star: Belial]—he begins his climb in a society that worships Godwalkers, magical prodigies who inspire devotion and followers like rock stars. Every skill he learns, every clash he faces, is like mastering a new track in his personal magnum opus—a relentless pursuit of both power and identity in a world where survival demands constant improvisation. Can he conquer his new exoplanet home and create his own personal heaven, or will he follow the request of The Creator, and destroy the Prime Realm System? What to expect: - A Love Letter to Hip-Hop, Anime, and Fantasy Games. (Warning: 4k to 7k words a chapter) - Overpowered male MC who becomes the strongest using his wits and knowledge. - Fights! This is a combat-heavy series. It does get gory and dark. - Deep lore and worldbuilding. - Use of AAVE - An urban interaction with many of the familiar tropes and situations of Isekai & Eastern Fantasy. - A long adventure involving many solo, group, and army battles, kingdom-building, and interesting characters to root for or against. - Romance & mature themes play a heavy role in certain chapters. - Each Chapter shares a Title with a Song. Rakshak of Kalpa

*Slow-Burn, Progression-Fantasy* I have added the number of words beside the chapter name, so divide it by 1.5k and take the quotient as the number of chapters released in mass. Synopsis: The World is currently in the Kali Yuga, the fourth and final era before its renewal. With corruption slowly tainting their fabric of existence, degrading their morals as they stumbled through the ages, humanity now awaits its purification at the hands of divine entities. Will they fight back? Or accept their Eradication? Dhruva, who arrived at a Gurukul, oblivious of his roots to the mystic world, found himself caught in the crossfire of an eternal conflict between Devatas and Asuras. Having his view of this world suddenly turned upside down, he now has to rearrange his priorities and swiftly adapt to the new deadly environment with only three lives in hand. But fate has different things in mind. Setting its wheels in motion, seven young bloods from prominent ancient families were suddenly selected, in a secret plot to preserve humanity. Trying to find balance between defending the World from the Asuras below and being a canon fodder for the higher beings and Devatas above, humanity now has to bide for time, so that it can accumulate enough power by delving into the dungeons guarded by Temples. Where does the end of this journey lie? And who should they even fight against? They must now wade through a perilous journey filled with sacrifices and helplessness, struggling to keep their loved ones safe in a world that's falling apart. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx This story will take time to pick up its pace, with the starting arcs meant for establishing the world and its systems, having action sprinkled between slices of academy life, little bit of romance and a whole lot of training. At this moment in time, there's about 210k(will be updated continuously) words in total, so it will provide a good enough binge for a night. I'm looking forward to your comments and critiques, so I hope you have fun reading my story. Thanks for your time. Updates: Probably every three days. Sometimes the juices flow naturally, and sometimes I need to squeeze my emotions hard enough. But they will usually have more than 4k words considering the recent trend. Disclaimer: This work is like my zeroth draft to finalize the structure of the story I have thought about. I was hoping to get feedback along the journey but well... Later things will be made much more concise and will start at a different point in subsequent drafts. Thanks to those who are willing to see how this world shapes up.

Record of Ashes War

Sar'tara is a huntress of a forest watched over by her mother, the Forest Deity. Living in an isolated tribe of only women, the only life she's ever known is competition against rival tribes —competition to win her mother's favor, as well as the rights and powers of the deity's chosen defenders. Unknown to Sar'tara, a warlord living in the "outside" world has long hated her mother. A warlord known only as 'The Lord Sun'. A man who parades himself as the herald of justice and is dead set on burning the forest down… Duke Kalin of the Xenarian Kingdom watches over his nation's borders. He has always left alone the mysterious and deadly forest that lies at the edge of his jurisdiction. But when the warlord encroaches on his land he's forced to act, leaving Xenaria's borders unwatched and open to invasion from another opportunistic neighboring nation… Two people, ignorant of each other's existence, will meet to kick start an epic! This is a second world fantasy epic, a little different from the usual litrpg/progression fantasy, or drama/romance people might be used to here. Still, I hope people give me a chance. What to expect: -Slow burn plot and characterization heavy. -Big battles following lots of build-up chapters. -Chapter length will vary between 2k and 4k words. Sometimes a little more or less. -Release schedule - Twice a week (Monday & Thursday likely) following the initial mass release. This will be a long series. Hope readers will stick with me! -Lots of violence. -Artwork sometimes! GENRES AND TAGS: [ORIGINAL] [FANTASY] [FEMALE LEAD (**to begin with**)] [ACTION] [WAR & MILITARY] [STRATEGY] [ADVENTURE] [ROMANCE] [DRAMA] PLEASE DO NOT REFER TO THE *TAGS* FOR THE FULL LIST OF CATEGORIES. REFER TO THE ABOVE INSTEAD NOTE: This story will slowly transition to being more male lead oriented **much** farther down the line Cover art by @yaminokuni on twitter This serial will also be available on Novels.gg, Royal Road, and scribblehub

Grey Worlds

A mysterious incident occurred on a otherwise normal science centered world where all of the children from the age range of eight to sixteen suddenly vanished. “Where have their kids gone and will they ever return?” The now childless parents never got to really ask that question, because a strange new element replaced their lost children. This element slowly mutated the various animals that they once ruled over with their technology to the point that they were immune to their modern weaponry. The barren land of savages on a continent far away from theirs also had their children taken, but they easily mutated just like the beasts and only grew stronger thanks to the incident. A revolution of animals eventually took place after the mutations started to cause the animals to understand just how badly the humans ruined their lives and planet. Humans were the slowest to figure out how to use this strange new element to evolve, while their opponents were evolving and growing stronger by the day they couldn’t even surpass their modern technology. When humanity was on the brink of extinction a long forgotten event finally ended and their children finally started to return from the various worlds they were summoned to! It turns out that the mysterious new element that they didn’t know what to call was mana and that it’s everywhere in some fantasy planets. The children brought back a increase in technology and techniques to grow stronger with, which caused the humans to finally be able to build safe havens for their race. They grew stronger and started to finally adapt to their brand new environment. This is the story of a orphan who was taken away from his world, before he could gain a sense of attachment to the world. Who only has his older sister to care about and how he ends up adapting to the new world in front of him. ------------------ Dog notes by Doggo First 'five' chapters aren't what the story is really about and is more of a prologue. The reason why some are separated into parts is because Doggo originally posted them as a entire chapter. The main setting is Ghost's actual world and not any foreign world. So this story was already posted once to another site three years ago… and Dog is finally ending that three year hiatus! It was written in the first point of view, but Dog ended up having to change that all to third person because Dog read a first person novel which made Dog realize how bad Dog was at writing in first person. The explanation on why Dog was on a three year hiatus is written in the review section. The update schedule is a chapter a week till Dog get a editor and then two chapters a week till Dog gets enough money to pay for Dog’s bills. The final goal is to release a chapter every other day. Dog writes 4k word chapters so they are about twice as long as some of the other authors so every other day is actually more like once a day. Also the subject audience is male cause Dog had to pick one. In all honesty Dog hopes that both genders would like to read Dog's works. This one is definitely leaning a bit more on the male side of the audience spectrum tho.
