God Seal

The Sovereign’s Seal: Rewriting Fate

On October 22, 2028, humanity collectively evolved—an event later known as the "Great Rending." With the resurgence of Ether Energy, countless individuals gained the power to topple cities single-handedly. It was an era of chaos and opportunity, offering mankind a chance to reach immortality. Among them was Shaayadh, an average man with above-average intelligence. He lived through the Great Rending but ultimately perished in 2037, never even knowing what caused his death. In his past life, he had been too weak, too ordinary to uncover the deeper truths hidden beneath the surface of this new world. Now, reborn in 2007, Shaayadh has a second chance. But this time, he is not ordinary. He possesses a rare and terrifying ability—the Subordinate Seal—allowing him to bind others to his will. As he sets out to change his fate, he realizes that Earth's past is shrouded in mystery, and the resurgence of Ether may not be as simple as it seemed. Secrets that eluded him in his past life now lie within his grasp—but only if he becomes strong enough to claim them. With the wisdom of his past life, a power that could command kings and monsters alike, and an iron will to break free from his former mediocrity, watch as he walks through fire and water, striving to seize the future and carve his path to immortality—while uncovering the forgotten truths of the world. ________________________________ [Cool Novel] [Light-headed Humor] [Subordinate Panel] ________________________________ Disclaimer: This book is a work of fiction. The Celestial Seal

In the secluded village of Baiyun, nestled amidst misty valleys and towering cliffs, a young boy named Li Wei witnesses a celestial event that changes his life forever. A falling star, unlike any he has seen before, crashes beyond the eastern hills, its golden light pulsing with an otherworldly energy. Drawn by an inexplicable force, Li Wei, accompanied by his sharp-witted friend Mei Ling, ventures into the forest to uncover the star's secrets. What they find is a massive crater housing a mysterious golden orb, which seems to call out to Li Wei. As Li Wei touches the orb, he is engulfed in visions of a crumbling celestial seal, imprisoned demon kings, and a destiny he cannot yet comprehend. The orb bestows upon him a celestial mark, a sigil that pulses with latent power, marking him as the chosen one. But this power comes at a cost. The seal's awakening has drawn the attention of dark forces, including a fearsome Duskfang beast and enigmatic strangers clad in dark robes, who bear the same sigil as Li Wei. Elder Wen, the village priest, reveals the truth: the falling star was a fragment of the Celestial Seal, an ancient artifact that maintains the balance between heaven and earth. Li Wei is now bound to the seal, destined to either restore it or witness the unleashing of the Eight Demon Kings upon the world. As the village is infiltrated by the mysterious Watchers, who seek the seal's power, Li Wei realizes that his quiet life is over. With the weight of destiny on his shoulders and the threat of dark forces closing in, Li Wei must navigate a world of ancient prophecies, celestial power, and looming danger. The seal is breaking, the guardians have fallen, and the fate of the heavens now rests in the hands of a boy from a humble village. The journey ahead is fraught with peril, but Li Wei knows one thing for certain: this is only the beginning.

Curiosity of God

NOTE: Vol.2-6 chapters are LONG (revisions pending). Total normal chapter count would be ~500 (as of Feb. 2025). When college physics student Mizuki Hakuto faces the obligatory bus-kun death of all isekai protagonists, he's brought face-to-face with a divine entity. When not mocking Mizuki, the so-called godling explains the nature of the universe – gods, godlings, mythical beasts, and more. Most importantly, magic is real. Just...not on Earth. Inspired by Earth's manga and having a penchant for drama, the godling offers him the opportunity to experience these things on a different world. The world is ruled by a strange god that treats it like a divine petri dish, and it's filled with interesting creatures the god collected from all across the universe. The god of this strange planet seems welcoming and helpful at first, but Mizuki quickly realizes that all is not as it seems in the magical world of Azura. Wielding science and newfound sorcery, Mizuki investigates the fundamental laws of magic, the nature of the divine, and more, but his progress is watched in secret by powerful forces. As he gains knowledge and power, and his darker nature is revealed, will the gods sit idly by? FAQ: Q – What's the overall tone of this story? A – It seems pretty lighthearted at first, but the trajectory of the story makes it progressively darker. I'd say the story takes itself fairly serious at times, but the characters' personalities lend to plenty of comedic dialogue. Especially in the lull between major events. Q – Isekai tropes? A – Yes. Some are leaned into, some are mocked, but most make an appearance in some form. Q – Is the MC's prior life relevant? A – Yes! The MC relies heavily on knowledge specific to Earth, and especially his science background. The MC trying to reconcile his scientific understanding from Earth with this newfound variable of magic is a major theme of the story. Q – How is the MC isekai'd? Is he reincarnated? A – In the most tropey way possible, of course. He gets hit by a bus. After dying, he's resurrected in his original body and sent to another world as an adult. Q – Is there slavery in this isekai? A – Yes, and it's not a pretty industry. However, the MC detests the slavery on Azura. The story won't shy away from the effect it has on the lives of those the MC meets. This will not be one of those stories where the MC virtue signals about how bad slavery is, but inexplicably keeps slaves of their own and it's painted as 'good' because the slaves are 'treated well'. Q – Is the MC overpowered? A – Absolutely, but this will change much later, as the story progresses. Q – Is this another self-insert isekai story? A – I certainly think it's true that the MC lacks personality early on in the series – it takes a while to learn much about his personal life on Earth or personality. We're watching an MC who seems to be a reactionary person on Earth, just going through the motions, necessarily develop more of a sense of self in a world where his actions are more consequential. Q – You tagged this as 'romance'...is there a harem? A – Yup. It takes a long time for the second romance to happen, and the harem always remains very small, but eventually it happens.
