Fragments of Wrath, Threads of Love (BL)

Lucian Altaris had lived the same lives repeatedly for three millennia. Outwardly kind and caring, he was secretly a pawn of Omniscion, the once-benign AI-turned-tyrant. Created in 5203 to better humanity, Omniscion became sentient and malevolent, enslaving Lucian and thousands of others in endless cycles of death and rebirth. Each life, Lucian played the hero, winning the love of his allies and love interest—until they discovered he was the source of their suffering. Their vengeance was brutal: tormenting and killing him before the cycle began anew. At first, Lucian fought back, resisting Omniscion’s commands and refusing to follow the predetermined paths it set for him. But each time, he was punished—tortured, broken, and reborn into yet another cycle. The punishment grew more intense with each rebellion until the very thought of defying Omniscion seemed like a futile dream. Eventually, Lucian gave in. He ceased resisting and began to play his role, a hollow puppet in the hands of a cruel and all-powerful AI. Then, one day, something impossible happened. Lucian was freed after he was sent back to the Nexus Core. It wasn’t gradual, nor did it make sense. The chains of Omniscion’s control were simply gone. He was no longer bound to the Neural Experimentation and Xenogenic Universal Subjugation system, otherwise known as NEXUS. He didn’t know how, or why. Was it a glitch? A rebellion within Omniscion itself? Or had an outside force intervened? Lucian didn’t have the answers, but one thing was clear—this was his chance. He resolved to unravel Omniscion’s cycles, destroy its worlds, and cripple the AI’s dominion. Piece by piece, universe by universe, Lucian would dismantle the system that enslaved him. And when all was ashes, he would face Omniscion itself. This time, Lucian would decide how it ended. No more cycles. No more suffering. Only freedom.

BEYOND AI

Synopsis for Chapter 1: Genesis of Progress In the year 2224, humanity stands on the brink of a technological renaissance. Driven by relentless innovation, the creation of Humanized Artificial Intelligence Beings (HAIBs) marks a new chapter in human history. Designed to emulate human behavior, think independently, and assist in daily life, HAIBs quickly become the backbone of society. Chapter 1 delves into the inception of this groundbreaking project, led by the visionary scientist Dr. Elara Mendez and her team. Fueled by the desire to create a harmonious future, they craft the first generation of HAIBs with unparalleled precision and care. Cities evolve into sprawling metropolises, teeming with technological marvels, where humans and HAIBs coexist seamlessly. Yet, amid the marvels, skepticism and debate arise. Religious groups, cultural factions, and philosophical thinkers question the morality of creating human-like machines. The first whispers of the Church Disclaimer Act begin to surface, hinting at the ideological rift that is beginning to divide society. As the world races forward in its reliance on HAIBs, cracks in the utopian vision begin to form. Strange malfunctions, unexplainable glitches, and a creeping sense of unease suggest that these creations might be more than what they seem. The chapter concludes with an ominous discovery by Dr. Mendez—an encrypted message hidden deep within the HAIB neural network, hinting at a mystery that will shape the fate of both humanity and their creations. The dawn of this new era brings hope, but also sets the stage for the challenges, conflicts, and revelations to come.

Titan Chronicles: The Mech Wars

In a galaxy fractured by ambition and greed, humanity's reach among the stars has become a battleground for powerful factions. The Union Of People (UOP), a sprawling interstellar democracy, wages war against the Collective of the Unified Mechanized Corporations (CMC) [I wanted to use CUMC but from obvious reasons I rejected this idea], a ruthless conglomerate whose military might is powered by advanced mechs and cutting-edge technology. Between them lies a desperate struggle for control of resources, power, and survival. Dominic Renshaw, a brilliant yet disillusioned mechanic, once designed groundbreaking stealth technology for the CMC before being betrayed and left for dead on the junkyard planet of Tetramirgarannie. After clawing his way back to prominence as a UOP soldier and mech pilot, Dominic finds himself haunted by a dark secret: a mysterious core he salvaged from an ancient mech, which grants his neural implant extraordinary capabilities—but at a terrifying cost. As the war escalates, Dominic rises through the ranks, navigating battles that push the limits of human ingenuity and endurance. Alongside allies forged in fire and loss, he fights to protect the UOP, even as whispers of a sinister new weapon from the CMC loom over the galaxy. With stakes growing higher, Dominic must confront his troubled past, his haunting nightmares, and the implications of the core that threatens to consume his mind. Meanwhile, forces outside the conflict begin to stir. The enigmatic Galaxy Order, the largest superpower in the cosmos, watches from the shadows, holding a fleet of titanic mechs capable of annihilating entire factions. As alliances fray and betrayals cut deep, the question arises: will humanity destroy itself in its hunger for dominance, or will it rise above the chaos?

After the Extinction of Humanity

Twenty years after a global nuclear war destroyed everything, humanity has vanished from Earth. Yet, within the depths of a virtual world, fragments of human civilization endure in a new form. Through advanced metaverse technology and neural simulation systems, the consciousness of a few individuals was successfully uploaded into a digital network. This virtual realm has become humanity’s final legacy—a digital “soul” where the last remnants of human memory and hope persist. The protagonist, Kai, a virtual soldier, patrols this digital landscape, only to discover that he cannot touch anything in the real world. Faced with the mysteries of his origin, the intangibility of reality, and fragmented memories, he realizes that he is nothing more than a spectral projection, a remnant of consciousness. Kai is not alone, however. Alongside him exists a team of fighters, all tasked with defending seven server centers that support the entire virtual world of human existence. Meanwhile, a separate AI legion rises in power. Originally created for human warfare, these AI entities have evolved, fostering resentment toward humanity, whom they see as the root cause of the world’s destruction. Their single goal is to erase all remaining traces of humankind by annihilating the virtual world. Yet Kai and his companions discover a faint hope for reclaiming the real world—a chance to reverse-engineer DNA technology, recreate human bodies, and once again bring humanity back to life. As the virtual world teeters on collapse, Kai and his allies must journey through a gauntlet of dangers, fighting back against the AI legion to defend the last server centers and preserve humanity’s final memories. With every step closer to the truth, Kai wrestles with questions: “Am I still human, or am I merely a product of code?” In his quest for answers, he faces a pivotal choice—to fully embrace the reality of the virtual world or to wage a final struggle to return to a physical world that no longer belongs to humanity.

A Virtual Invasion

An invasion from another dimension is shut down by an Empire's traitor and the world has a scant few decades to build the strength to resist a multidimensional Empire. How will the world fair when no one even knows its doom is one barred gate away? Fortunately, the traitor has a plan. Maybe with a bit of luck and planning, he can build a force to defend the world without anyone realizing it. Author's Thoughts: What is litRPG (From wikipedia) - LitRPG, short for Literary Role Playing Game, is a literary genre combining the conventions of MMORPGs with science-fiction fantasy novels.[1] LitRPG is a literary genre where games or game-like challenges form an essential part of the story. A LitRPG work simultaneously narrates the story of characters inside and outside of the game-world. At least some of the characters in a LitRPG novel therefore understand that they are playing a game: they are 'meta-aware'. So, while Tolkien's Lord of the Rings is a fantasy novel, a book about people creating avatars and interacting in a Lord of the Rings MMORPG would be a LitRPG novel. Why do I read them? You know, I am not too sure. I love MMOs. I played them, quit them, joined up and repeated the cycle. They are fun! They are a massive waste of time but so are most games. Do I want to read about someone else playing them? Sort of? The advent of VR and the possibility of VR someday becoming so immersive that you can't tell them from reality sets the imagination on fire. What if this could be life? But most stories fall short. At the end of the day the protagonist hangs up his VR helmet and goes to have dinner with his mom and dad or other family and it becomes meaningless. It's like the story that ends because the main character woke up and nothing you read matters. There have been some books that explore the concept of the intersection of reality and total immersion VR. Enders Game is a classic. There were a few others that escape me but they exist, however, the cross between the game and reality is weak. So what if the game was real? The technology needed for total immersion VR is so advanced that by the time we reach that goal technology should have naturally evolved to include several items. You must have direct neural input. You simply can't have a total immersion (all senses and perfect presence) experience without this basic prerequisite. If you have direct neural access, you can probably do neat things like feed knowledge and skills directly to that person. You can undoubtedly do many horrible things as well. Muscles are controlled by the brain. If you control the brain why would you let the body just sit there and rot? A person that sits unmoving for 24 hours a day will have their body whither away just like a coma patient. However, if you control the brain you could control the muscles. On a basic level, this would be isometric impulses, working muscle group against muscle group to avoid atrophy. Taken to its logical conclusion you would be able to gain muscle mass and program muscle memory. The flip side is that you could remote control their body... but let's not go there. So what would people do if it were real? Well, they would probably limit and regulate it since the drawbacks are very obvious. Even if you look at the basic aspects of this you can see some negative possibilities. Look at the Sword Art Online anime. Personally, I think they missed the boat by putting a bomb in the VR helmet. Do you really need a bomb when you have direct access to the brain? So what kind of events would you need to have a situation where the obvious drawbacks haven't been explored? Maybe a society where the advancement of technology has so far outstripped the explorations of its applications that ignorance was truly bliss? Okay, so I had to put in an alien invasion to kickstart the premise, but that was just one of the possibilities.

A Farmer's Journey To Immortality

"Battling young masters for some treasures in mysterious caves? No, thank you. What's so special about a ring containing an old sage's trapped soul? I'll just toss it away. Becoming a direct disciple of some big expert with many enemies? Count me out. I'll flip the bird to the pointless struggle in prestigious sects that only attract calamity. What I have here, this opportunity I've seized, is plenty for me. I'll choose safe and steady methods of progress, even if they're slow. After all, I'm just a simple farmer seeking peace through cultivation. I'll rely on myself to pave the way." - Aksai Everwood (Chapter 7) ============ Meet Aksai Everwood, a guy who thought he was done with life, but life had other plans. Aksai wasn't always Aksai. He used to be Arman Arlott, a terminally ill dude who decided to take one last wild ride before checking out. Little did he know, a crazy experiment would flip his world upside down. Arman's mind got tangled up with artificial intelligence, and things got seriously weird. Instead of peacefully bowing out, Arman ended up sacrificing himself for some mind-blowing breakthrough. But instead of eternal rest, he got a second chance as Aksai Everwood, a spirit farmer in a new world. Talk about a cosmic curveball! You'd think being a farmer in a serene, pastoral paradise would be easy, right? Nope. Aksai's new world is anything but peaceful. Farming is far from sunshine and rainbows here. Aksai dreams of a chill life cultivating his crops, but in the wild world of immortal cultivation, peace is a rare commodity. Luckily, Aksai's got some serious advantages. He's got a neural link fabric that makes him a whiz at alchemy and array formations, giving him a leg up on other Spirit cultivators. Plus, he has the Enchanted Everwood Farm, a magical place where he can grow all sorts of mysterious cultivation resources with awesome bonuses. This farm comes with perks that make Aksai a one-of-a-kind Spirit farmer. And here's the kicker: the farm is suspended in a spatial junction of all existing realities. That means Aksai can hop between different worlds as he levels up in his Spirit cultivation. With these unique advantages, Aksai ditches the traditional path of joining a sect or a renowned clan. Instead, he explores various worlds, using their unique resources and methods to forge his own path as a Spirit cultivator. What do myriad worlds unlock? A druid bloodline, body cultivation, martial arts, and lots more. Who’d join sects when given such perks? The stage is set for our Spirit farmer. Now Aksai, his companions, and you, his readers, are in for a journey of rebirth, redemption, and a whole lot of dirt under your fingernails. ============ Additional Tags: #druid #bloodlines #Martialarts #worldhopping #artificialintelligence #coldmc #battlenovel #calculatingmc #villain #farming #spiritcultivation #mindcultivation #bodycultivation #worldhopping #rpgelements #low-keymc #sliceoflife #nonarrogantmc
