Many years ago most of earth's population got infected with a mysterious infection, the "curse of the hollowed". All these poor souls developed superhuman abilities but completely lost their mind and started aimlessly destroying everything around them. To protect themselves, humans built walls around their towns and hunters, as well as royal knights were hired to get rid of the danger. But just as people started gaining hope that the pandemic will be over soon, the "divine light cult" was formed with members that believed the curse was a divine punishment and humans aren't allowed to intervene, so the members started to kill those who tried to defeat the victims of the curse. After years of struggling and many, many deaths the kingdom finally managed to get rid of most infected ones and the new cases started getting less and less, only happending occasionally. Suddenly, after more than a decade of peace strange events start to occur again. How will humanity hold up against a possible second wave of the "curse"?
