Theocratic

Fiendhunter

When the port of Franik chokes on briny fog thick with the reek of decay, a witcher pierced through the heart by a pitchfork opens eyes that no longer belong to him—Bai Lang, a 21st-century zoologist, now inhabits this scarred body. Hired by a tavern keeper for three silver coins to dredge up a drowned earl’s bastard, he finds a spoon stamped with royal wax in the corpse’s bloated stomach. As fishing nets haul up indigo cloth fragments from the New World, the gallows creaks under the weight of its seventh “witch,” her charred ankles swaying above the harbor. Twelve letters bearing disparate noble crests steer Bai Lang toward a fractured silver sword’s trail: a sarcophagus in a monastery crypt weeps with a banshee’s lament, a cyclops’ birthmark glows upon a fishergirl’s collarbone in rhythm with the tides, and Crusader curses fester as sentient barnacles devouring sailors in a merchant ship’s belly. Yet the deadliest snare lies in the crown prince’s chambers—a unicorn tapestry woven from twelve bastards’ umbilical cords, every thread stitched with the witchers’ vanishing truth. Shrouded sails pierce the North Sea’s fury as the fabled Isle of Witchers emerges from mythic fog. When pyres of burning witches stain the horizon and the Pope’s dagger presses against a laboring mother’s fevered throat, Bai Lang clutches the final shard of silver and understands: the plague ravaging the Old World is no act of God, but a funeral orchestrated by New World capitalists and Old World theocrats. The last witcher’s blade, once plunged into monstrous hearts, must now carve an epitaph for the devils mankind has birthed—and bury an era in its silver grave.

Demonic Angels

Heaven is a spiritual realm where most existence are unreal to the earth realm. The earth realm was dethroned by one of the most elite prince's of hell, which we all know as the Asmodeus(lust). In a world where corruption leads blind people called humans, a theocratic world, which is being led by corrupt priest, arch bishops, deacons, Popes, Cardinals, and the rest, is being threatened by the demonic apocalypse, which claims to suck the remaining strand of righteousness from the earth, and build a new world in order to accommodate and accomplish evil. Heavenly creatures such as Angels were forced to come down to earth to make sure that the demon king doesn't accomplish his mission. They formed an elite team, a clergy which was meant to fight, protect and preserve the gospel of the almighty. This team ran through for thousands of years and was being led by an angel called Evernon, who had sworn to lead this clergy for his entire lifetime. This clergy was ordained to humans by angels who had transferred their powers to the first twenty, the first twenty was a team of humans who had angelic powers after the first war between demons and angels. The war was brutal and it took place on the earth, after Lucifer had taken over the church and placed demons as his priest, nuns bishops, etc. The war was won by angels, off course good always prevails, but the only way they could win was by and explosion of heavenly powers, which means that angels gave of their powers by exploding into the air, which caused their powers to transmit to different locations. Humans found this powers, possessed them and since then, it has been transferred from generations to generations.

A Brief History of Pakistan

CSS Times A Brief History of Pakistan | CSS Recommended Book in PDF Shahzad F. Malik Shahzad F. Malik 3 years ago A Brief History of Pakistan | CSS Recommended Book in PDF Download this in PDF A Brief History of Pakistan By JAMES WYNBRANDT Download FPSC Recommended Book in PDF for CSS Exams Introduction Situated in the northwest corner of the Indian subcontinent, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan occupies a position of historic importance. Its strategic location, its role in the birth of civilization, and its influence as a crossroads of political and religious ideologies have kept it at the forefront of world events. Geographically, present-day Pakistan has long been a gateway between Eurasia and the subcontinent and between East and West. Its culture and history have been enriched by the countless invaders, traders, and settlers who have been a part of the region’s past. Some, like Alexander the Great and his army, merely passed through but left a lasting mark. Others, such as the Arab armies spreading the word of Islam and the British who imposed the ways of the West, became an integral part of the region’s culture and character. Some of humankind’s greatest works of art and architecture, of verse and word, were created here. Today the region again has taken an outsized role on the world stage: It is a linchpin in the global struggle against terrorism, a cauldron in the heated conflict between secular and theocratic rule, a poster nation for the struggle between autocracy and democracy, and a nuclear power whose relations with its neighbor India have made this one of the most unstable regions in the world.

Pretty Far Out There...

(Message to RoyalRoad staff: I'm posting this on RoyalRoad.com under the account Randomguy516 (https://www.royalroad.com/profile/96335).) Okay... so, basically, the general idea I'm going for here is... uhm... God (in this fantasty world) represents the power of absolute authority. He basically behaves like many authoritarian leaders, but on a global scale and to the point where he can literally read your thoughts. The only thing stopping him from puppeting the entire planet is the fact that he is kind of clumsy/overpowered and ends up just breaking things. Because of this, he must select a "hero" to act on his behalf, but he's having trouble finding one. The Devil embodies a more... chaotic philosophy. He believes that order/structure is unnatural--basically slavery to any free-minded creature (like humans, angels, demons, etc). He is unable to traverse Earth (er... alternate Earth) personally for fear of God finding and attacking him. Instead, he uses agents--demons or humans who sell their souls to him--to basically overthrow establishments dedicated to God. Because the current world is a theocratic regime... this basically means he sends agents to upturn society. Neither deity necessarily values any life other than their own... they see humans kind of how might see them while reading this. You know, assuming I do a half-decent job, you get attached to maybe a couple, but they're mostly in the background and you don't really care if they die. For the most part, God and Satan just sort of force their own philosophies onto humans while trying to prove to each other than one is superior. In any case, I hope you enjoy it. If not, that's fine (obviously), nothing is for everyone, and I'm not exactly a world-class author. This is just a fun idea. Don't expect regular updates... I have a job, college, and girlfriend to think about, so I don't know when I'll even have time for this.
