Error Of The World

"Fuck, its so hot." Ken wiped the sweat from his forehead as he looked up the sun, looking like it was closer than usual. "This is not normal." He was coming back from his shopping trip, it was pay day and he wanted to buy a new gaming laptop for months. "Once I get home, I am locking myself in my room and turning on the a/c for hours while gaming." Just thinking about it made the heat more bearable. His house was coming into view now, all he had to do was cross the road but, "Dammit, why are there so many cars when its this hot!" He used a paper to cool himself down even just a little. He waited and waited but the cars just kept coming, there was no end to it. "Ok, this is just ridiculous, there is usually not many cars passing through our little town, what the hell-" He looked to his right and knew why there were so many cars rushing in the opposite direction. "Holy shit!" He dropped his 40k credit laptop and ran in the opposite direction at full speed, though his full speed was laughable as he was never active, he was a shut in who did his work online. He pulled whatever strength his body could muster up. "Fuck fuck fuck, what the hell is going on!" He was already out of breath but he knew, stopping meant death. He looked back again and saw the heatwave rushing at him, killing all the things in its path. He pushed his body further, almost tripping multiple times, even blood started coming from his mouth, the heat was already affecting him, even from far away. "Hah hah hah hah, think, think, think dammit." He spotted the lake where him and his friends always swam for fun. It was not that deep but it was his only option, the heatwave was getting too close. He pushed himself one more time, reaching the lake and jumping in.

Return of the Unknown Swordsman

Please note that this novel is fictional, and as such, the characters and organizations within are merely the subject of the author's intellectual devices. The year is 1009 A.D. Huanzhi Ren is the Unknown Swordsman, an assassin with over 37 years of experience in murdering adversaries. He has been the death of countless young warriors, 1200 to be exact. Among those who have fallen to his blade is even the former king, Qinluo. This man is considered by many to be a villain. His closest companion, you ask? A man named Suntao. His blood brother since abandonment. Huanzhi, also called Zhi or Zhi-zhi, has the aspirations to be the greatest warrior the martial arts world has ever known. By the way, screw all of these titles, I'm not gonna lie... that's pretty long to remember. "The Greatest Warrior the Martial Arts World Has Ever Known." Think that fits on a name tag? Hell no. In any case, Huanzhi is told of a pill by his blood brother that is rumored to give the absorber of it the amount of qi cultivation of 89 years of isolation training. The only problem? It's guarded by some of the greatest warriors to walk the realm... and Zhi-zhi can't fight with his right arm. Just before dying from his wounds from a fight with Lu Gongfen "The Falling Lotus Petal" (Seriously man, who names these stupid titles), Zhi regrets all the vile acts he has committed. As such, he is given a second chance at life. A chance to redeem himself. The only problem? It's 2023, and he doesn't have a blood brother around to keep him in check. Please read the prologue for the background! Thank you for taking the time to read this pathetic little excuse of what I consider a novel... AND FOR GOD'S SAKE SOMEONE LEAVE A REVIEW!
