Hollywood Hunt

Eternal Cirque: The Lackadaisical Hunt

Disclaimer: The entire story is from the Main Character's point of view. I will try to vividly depict the emotions our MC feels while going through his bizarre second life. Throughout the main volume, the MC will be the narrator of the story and we would perceive the world through his eyes. A bit cliché, at the same time, refreshingly new. The story is neither fast nor slow paced, thus maintaining a steady rhythm. Complex situations call for detailed chapters: for example, how our MC spent his first day after transmigrating has been described in great detail as it was an important event of MC's life. If my work gets popular, I will consider writing side stories from the supporting character's point of views. And please exercise patience, dear readers. The story gets intriguing from after the first ten chapters or so, so please bear with me during the initial journey. Overview: A man dies and travels to the underworld to get his memories erased before his soul would reincarnate, along with a couple of his friends. Plot Twist? He discovers that his soul, in reality, had been snapped into two shards before he was even born. How the heck this happened? He will do his absolute best to find that out. Meanwhile the system that erases memories offers him a unique choice. He can transmigrate into the body of the person who possesses the remaining piece of his broken soul! Or he can sit tight in Underworld and wait for that person to die, and then their broken souls would combine and he automatically reincarnate as one complete being. What will the MC choose? Read the book to find out! If you like it, don't hesitate to drop a comment and a review. If you don't, even then drop a comment and a review. It would help me improve my writing skills and help to give you a better story! Find my book interesting? Add it to the reading list of your library! This book is also known as: Eternal Cirque: The Hunt, The Eternal Cirque, Error 404: Soul not found {Note: This Book Is A Revised Edition Of One Of My Other Books, But You Do Not Need To Read The Other Book To Understand This One. Both of these books can be said to be a little project of mine, and is mainly cultivated to improve my writing skills in English, which is not, I repeat, NOT my mother tongue.} BTW, this book is participating in WSA 2025

(BL) Hunting The Field Guide

Kellen Woods grew up never knowing a normal world. By the time he could walk, his mother and father had already sealed several serious gates that threatened the safety of his hometown. By the time his sister was born, they were famous worldwide. So the world held their breath for when Kellen and his sister came of age, waiting to see what kind of power they would awaken. His sister was just like his mom, same power, same class, while Kellen, woke up one day to find out what it meant to be special in a family the world watched. But in the worst way. Awakening weaker then your powerful parents wasn’t unheard of, but when your younger sister awakened at the same class as your parent, anyone would feel inferior. And Kellen, never one to ask for hand outs, left the comfort and safety of his hometown to become better than the weak brat everyone thought he was. Kellen went to the front lines, to where the gates normally broke out. From there, Kellen worked hard, and then worked some more until no one could doubt that he was good at his job. He got so good that even with his lower class, people would still hire him to help. But Kellen never took it to heart. He had learned a valuable lesson on the front lines. Classification only meant shit if you walked back out of the gate. Otherwise, shut your mouth and listen to those with more experience. They determined who made it out alive or not. But Kellen was tired now. He had gotten everything out of his system, and the fast paced life on the front lines didn’t suit him anymore. Now, he wanted to go home, buy a house, maybe find a nice man to settle down with, and live a normal life. All the while, the yellow eyes he’d met on the front lines haunted him, no matter how much he tried to forget about them. Especially since the Esper they were attached to refused to let him go.

Mark of the Hunt

Am I going insane? The thought slithers into my mind the moment I wake up, cold and disoriented, in a place that feels more like a nightmare than reality. My head is empty, my memories wiped clean, leaving behind only a suffocating void where my identity should be. The walls around me are smeared with something dark—blood, maybe. Symbols, jagged and unfamiliar, carve into the surfaces as if someone tried to leave a message… or a warning. But none of it makes sense. Nothing here makes sense.  I try to grasp at something—anything—but the harder I reach, the faster it slips through my fingers, like smoke dissolving in the air. My pulse pounds as I force myself to move, each step foreign, like I’m controlling a body that doesn’t belong to me. A name. A purpose. Something to tell me who I am. But there’s nothing. Only fragments, pieces that refuse to fit together. Then the games begin. Survival. That’s all it’s supposed to be. Do what you’re told, follow the rules, and maybe—just maybe—you’ll make it out alive. But I learn quickly that this isn’t just about survival. It’s about control. It’s about twisting reality until I don’t know what’s real and what’s a lie. The other players are just as lost, just as desperate, but I can see it— But they aren’t like me. Some of them know more than they’re letting on. Some of them… aren’t afraid. The more I search for answers, the more the world unravels. Reality bends. Faces blur. Voices whisper from places they shouldn’t. Every time I think I’m close to the truth, it twists away from me, leaving me drowning in questions I can’t answer. The line between what’s real and what’s in my head has thinned to nothing, and I don’t know if I can trust my own mind anymore. Who am I? Maybe it’s better that I don’t know. Maybe knowing would break me beyond repair. Or maybe… maybe I was never meant to leave this place at all. I used to think I was just confused, just lost in the chaos. But now? I was definitely insane.
