In 1960, eleven-year-old Amelia Forefore uncovers a mysterious mirror hidden within the walls of her ancestral estate. What begins as innocent curiosity soon unravels a legacy of profound innovation and sacrifice. The mirror is linked to a dormant time machine, a groundbreaking invention created in 1903 by her grandfather, Ludvik Forefore—a brilliant scientist whose genius attracted the collaboration of visionaries like Nikola Tesla and Henry Ford. Ludvik’s pursuit of time travel, however, did not go unnoticed. His work drew the attention of Zeta-2, a malevolent alien entity intent on manipulating humanity through his invention. Determined to protect the future, Ludvik fused his essence with the machine in a desperate act of defiance, leaving behind a fractured legacy shrouded in secrecy. Decades later, Amelia’s discovery reawakens the machine, thrusting her into a generational conflict that has shaped the trajectory of civilization itself. As she grows, Amelia unravels the secrets of her family’s past, confronts the cosmic manipulation of Zeta-2, and begins to understand her pivotal role in a battle for the survival of humanity. By 1980, Amelia, now armed with the Matter and Anti-Matter Crystals and the knowledge passed down from her grandfather, must confront Zeta-2 in a climactic struggle that will determine Earth’s future. It is both a deeply human story of one girl’s transformation and a visionary exploration of time travel’s origins. With its richly layered worldbuilding, historical depth, and universal themes, this novel invites readers to consider the unseen forces that shape our existence and the enduring strength of the human spirit.

Back to 1980's to Enjoy

Lin Shirong was reborn in the summer of 1980. In his previous life, he had poor judgment when it came to people and relied too much on matchmakers. This led to his children having unhappy marriages, two useless sons-in-law, and several daughters-in-law who turned the family into a chaotic mess. Determined to change the course of his family’s future, Lin Shirong decided that in this life, he would personally find suitable partners for his children. Years later, during a gathering with old friends, the topic of conversation turned to their daughters-in-law and whether they were filial. The old men couldn't help but brag about their own families. Lin Shirong waited patiently for their boasting to run its course. Then, with a knowing smile, he took out his phone and posted a status update on WeChat Moments, writing: "I’m feeling restless staying at home all day—thinking of going out for a walk." The post barely had a chance to settle before his five daughters-in-law, scattered across different cities, started calling him one after another: The eldest daughter-in-law: “Dad, where do you want to go? I’ll pick you up right away!” The second daughter-in-law: “Dad, the Bird’s Nest Stadium just finished construction. Let me come get you so we can go see it together!” The third daughter-in-law: “Dad, among the Five Great Mountains, you haven’t visited Huashan yet. The weather is perfect right now. How about I pick you up and we go on a little trip?” The fourth daughter-in-law: [Her call was so enthusiastic it left no room for doubt.] The youngest daughter-in-law: [Equally excited and eager to make plans.] The scene left Lin Shirong’s old friends utterly speechless. Their earlier boasts paled in comparison, and their envy was unmistakable as their faces turned red!

Imran Series by Ibn_e_Safi

The "Imran Series" by Ibn-e-Safi is a renowned collection of Urdu spy novels, centered around the character Ali Imran, a secret agent working for the secret service of an unnamed country. The series, started in the early 1950s, blends elements of mystery, adventure, and humor, creating a unique and captivating narrative style. Ali Imran, the protagonist, is portrayed as a deceptively goofy and frivolous character, often underestimated by his adversaries due to his seemingly inept behavior. However, beneath this facade lies a brilliant and cunning mind, making him an exceptional detective and spy. Imran operates under various aliases and employs an eclectic team of assistants to tackle criminal masterminds, thwart espionage plots, and unravel complex mysteries. The series features a rich array of recurring characters, including Imran's loyal sidekicks like Joseph Mugonda, a strongman with a gentle heart, and the beautiful yet deadly Julia. Each novel introduces readers to new villains and intricate plots, keeping the stories fresh and engaging. The blend of action, intrigue, and humor, along with Safi's vivid and witty writing, has earned the "Imran Series" a cherished place in South Asian literature, continuing to captivate readers across generations. Disclaimer: I'm not the writer of this series. The original writer was actually "Asrar Ahmed" and he wrote this beautiful series of novels by the alias of "Ibn-e-Safi" (1928-1980). The original series was in Urdu language. I'm a big fan of "Ibn-e-Safi" and "Imran Series". I wanted to bring this series to global readers, so I am translating it into English and putting it on this large platform.

Cult Of Nero

Some one Build Lesbian Cult. that is all. ........................................ The cult of the female sex goddess, known as the Red Goddess, has long been rumoured to exist in the back alleys of the city. A group of women who worship the power, wisdom and strength of women, the Red Goddesses are a secret sisterhood of women dedicated to the domination and subjugation of men. They are not feminists, but instead believe that women are supreme and that men are inferior. They believe in the supremacy of the female, and have no use for men except as sources of sperm and potential fathers of their offspring, which they are allowed to keep. A secret global cult of female power, wealth, and privilege is operating in the shadows of society and the highest levels of government. Women from all walks of life are being recruited, groomed, and indoctrinated into the group. They’re being taught how to use their power, influence, and privilege to serve the group and themselves. They’re being groomed to become the next generation of leaders. The group is known for its strange practices, from forcing members to eat their own feces to punishing them for disobedience. Some have described it as a cult, but others say it’s no more than a lucrative business. The group’s leader, Ruby Rose, has described it as a “female empowerment organization,” but critics say she uses the same language to manipulate and control her followers. The group keeps most of its members in the dark, but occasionally they open their doors to the press. Back in the early 1980, a group of young women in southern California became obsessed with Shaman. They claimed they had supernatural powers, could read their minds, and could even move objects with their thoughts.

English-language werewolf novel from the mid-to-late 1980s

The book begins much as you described. An anthropologist is listening to members of a primitive tribe talk about how a werewolf had been killing people, twelve years ago, in sprees which always occurred during a full moon, until the tribal shaman was able to come up with a way to kill the monster. The scholar is interested in letting them talk, but personally suspects the "werewolf" was something like a victim of rabies who foamed at the mouth and seemed inhumanly strong as he went on a rampage -- although it is odd that he would survive long enough to launch three killing sprees at monthly intervals. The scholar silently speculates that perhaps there were multiple rabid attackers, in a monthly cycle -- each new one having been infected by the previous before he died of his disease, and only the last of them was somehow trapped and killed by the men of the tribe, who then blamed this "monster" for all of the previous killings. The scholar is trying to be polite, but evidently his skepticism shows through. The shaman is offended at being patronized by a white man who thinks he already knows all the answers. The shaman had kept a souvenir of the werewolf, dried out and in powdered form, believing it still contained the power to create another werewolf if need be. The shaman (called "Ugalde") puts that special powder into a bottle of whiskey and then . . . With the swiftness of a man half his age, the Indian leaped from a sitting position onto the other's chest, as if he were pinning him in some friendly athletic contest. But the crazed expression covering his face and the keenness of the knife blade removed any trace of ordinary competition from the action. Ugalde sat the bottle viciously on the ground next to the visitor's face and tipped the neck of it toward his mouth. "Drink," he ordered. "Ugalde!" the man cried frantically. Visions of wriggling microbes being revitalized by the liquor flooded his mind. Could any life survive for a dozen years in such a dehydrated state? Yes, yes, viruses could live for centuries! "What in the name of God are you doing?" A sneer replaced the sullen look the older man had worn. "Your god! You believe your eye, white man, and only that, so drink and see what the devils you don't know can cause a living spirit to become! Drink, or I will cut your throat!" Then a good chunk of the book deals with brutal murders taking place, always on the night of a full moon, and various characters getting interested in the investigation, for various reasons. At first, there's a serious lack of surviving eyewitnesses to describe the mysterious attacker to the cops, but gradually the evidence accumulates that something strongly resembling a Hollywood-style werewolf is involved in these homicides. We readers, of course, have a very good idea of how that happened. Then another large chunk of the book deals with what happens in one horrible night after the anthropologist has been taken into custody. (I think he finally surrendered himself to the police, voluntarily, and described everything he could remember about the incident with the shaman, and what's happened since then on the nights with full moons in the sky.) You are correct that becoming a werewolf appeared to be a type of communicable disease, although I can't recall if it was specifically established, during the novel, to be a "germ" or "virus" or what. You are also correct that silver was particularly effective against a werewolf. Other weapons could pierce its flesh, but it appeared to recover very rapidly from such wounds. (Sort of like Wolverine's mutant "healing factor" in the X-Men comics and movies.)

A villain's path to being a white lotus

Xiao Weiwei knew that it was all over when her sister stabbed her chest with a kitchen knife. As she fell to the ground limply, she wondered what great mistake she had committed in her life to suffer so much. Her soul left her body and she watched her sister and her lover live a good life, her company overtaken by her relatives and her parents living in a small backwater village persecuted by other villages. Her eyes reddened and even though she had no heart anymore, her chest contractions hurt her so much that she clutched at her soul body. "Xiao Yaoyao! I'll never let you go!" Her vision darkened and her soul disappeared from that plane called earth. -- When Xiao Weiwei reawakened, she saw that she was in a white space and there was a small peach blossom tree in the centre of the space. Intrigued, she moved closer and touched a bud of the tree. As she did so, she heard a voice: "Quickly withdraw your hand! Don't touch the tree hastily!" But it was too late!
