The story follows Corvus, a ward aetherwright from the backwater hamlet of Whisperwind, as he ascends through the ranks by mastering the art of aether-weaving.

One fateful day, Earth undergoes a cataclysmic transformation. A voice—ancient and omnipotent—echoes across the planet: "The Age of Magic has begun. Humanity shall be tested.
