The Origin of Karma
In his first life, Jimmy Martin was a fearless Jamaican hunter, renowned across his land for his unmatched skill in tracking and killing the most dangerous animals. His pride in his abilities grew over the years, but so did the trail of blood he left behind. He hunted without mercy, believing himself to be untouchable.
That belief ended the day his life was taken—struck down by the combined attack of a bear and a honey badger.
But Jimmy’s story did not end with death.
In the void between life and the afterlife, he encountered a mysterious god. The god’s voice echoed coldly in the darkness:
> “In your past life, you took lives for sport. Now, every life will hunt you in return. This… is your karma.”
Jimmy was reborn in a savage, untamed world—not as a man, but as the very animal that contributed to his death:
a honey badger.
His human identity stripped away, his new name became Karma.

As punishment, Karma was bound to an unbreakable curse:
Every human he meets will instinctively try to kill him.

During his desperate struggle for survival, Karma encounters a dying demon god.
The demon makes him a forbidden offer:
> “Drink my blood. Eat my flesh. Devour my five hearts. Fulfill two of my dying wishes…
And I shall grant you power… and perhaps, the chance to free yourself.”
The demon promises Karma strength beyond imagination. But in exchange, Karma must:
Consume the demon’s blood, flesh, and five hearts.
Fulfill two dangerous wishes that the demon could not complete before his death.
Whether Karma accepts this power or finds another way is a choice that will shape his fate—and possibly the fate of the entire world.
