The Mercenary System
Azamir Ternum was stuck early in life at a young age, his father contracted the Vrax plague while on leave of his deployment and his mother took over the family support in his father's declining health. Left with few options to make a living after his father's pension and state loan funds suddenly drying up he is forced to make a decision that will unknowingly put him at the center of planetary strife. He must use his wits, charm, and a bit of sheer luck just to survive life on his own.
