As he navigates the world of Arkanis, Auri finds himself entangled with dangerously captivating men who bear striking resemblance to the characters of his unfinished game. There’s Darius, the untrusting wanderer; Kaleo, the silver-tongued inquisitor; Clyde, the bloodthirsty mage; Wrye, the indomitable underground fighter; Heirax, the stoic archivist; and Jiang Yijun, the cunning diplomat from the east. But among these men, the one with missing pages to his story holds the strongest claim to his heart. But in a world where history is being tampered by unforeseen forces, love is a dangerous gamble. It could overwrite the past, but at the risk of losing oneself. Yet, if Auri restores the pages of a deleted past, the world may fall apart beyond repair. Kaleo Ail, an illegal miner from Africa is buried alive inside the mine after the mine collapses due to an earthquake. He tries to dig himself out but a series of phenomena occur and he finds himself trapped in an unknown place, a place where one can literally smell death through the air, a place that doesn’t allow any light to exist in its presence, a place that doesn’t allow life to flourish, a place of absolute darkness. After overcoming trials and tribulations, Kaleo finally manages to leave the unknown place but to his dismay, the world is no longer the same as he remembers it to be. He also finds out that he has been buried for a hundred thousand years in human time.

The world is on the verge of collapse. But there is a hero who saved the world by destroying it and resetting it back to where it was started. The incident was called the 'World End'. After the 'World End' incident, the world has been restored. The new world does not mean a world that is safe from danger. Due to magic whose origins are mysterious, the world changes. The animals and plants started attacking the humans around them. Because of that, the term 'Mage' appeared. The name of people who can use magic. They can travel the world in search of new things about magic. Nare Ciguerl is a child from a small city, Valhand. He has the same dream with his friends which is going to the Capital City Kaleo to become the best mage in the world. Living in a strange new world full of magic that can't be explained.
