Fast forward nearly 200 years later, most of the world is rebuilt and the population of humanity is better than it was right after the War. But since the War, many supernatural aspects of the world became more prominent, giving opportunities for creatures of the night and other supernatural beings to rise up from the shadows and thrive. One of these supernatural beings is Mael, who is categorized as a "Black Sun", a powerful supernatural creature who was born during an eclipse. Many believe that Black Suns are vessels for one of the embodiments of the Primordial Forces; An Archangel. Mael spent most of his life on the run from a certain faction, learning how to wield a sword which he uses to harness his innate power. In the dystopian environment where most areas are eat or be eaten, he learned to survive and how to come out on top. He built a reputations as a dangerous wandering swordsman who won't hesitate to cut his enemies down. Eventually, he arrived at Nighthaven, a prominent city in Dystopian America.
