Millenia ago the world was invaded by fiends from across the dimensios. The war was short, the results devastating to thise living there. Now the fiends rule, slowly changing the world to their image, the air, water and nature all tainted by their presence. Those who escaped their clutches live in fear, in hiding always aware that an army may appear to destroy them, bring them to be nothing more than cattle and slaves under those who rule.
