The Game Rune System

The Righteous Villain’s Game

The Righteous Villain's Game In a world where magic and technology intertwine seamlessly, Soren Blackwood opens his eyes to find himself reincarnated into the body of Elias Luminari, the sole heir to the Luminari Dynasty—a family renowned for their powerful light magic and generations of heroic deeds. To the public, the Luminaris represent the pinnacle of moral virtue and justice. But Soren—cunning, ruthless, and unapologetically self-serving—views his new prestigious position as merely a convenient mask for his true ambitions. His plans take an unexpected turn when a mysterious system activates in his mind, offering immense power with a single condition: systematically dismantle the destinies of the world's "chosen ones." The system requires him to target those marked by fate for greatness—specifically, to seduce their fated partners, sabotage their heroic journeys, and ultimately eliminate these would-be protagonists from the grand narrative. With cold calculation, Soren navigates the complex web of magical academies, aristocratic politics, and secret societies that define this new reality. He crafts elaborate schemes beneath the veneer of the perfect Luminari heir, exploiting his family's connections and resources while concealing his true nature. As Soren's list of targets grows, so does his power—but so too do the complications. Some of his victims prove unexpectedly resilient, others disturbingly perceptive. And as he delves deeper into the system's origins, he uncovers disturbing patterns that suggest his own reincarnation might be part of a much darker game—one where even he might be merely another piece on the board. In a world that worships its heroes, Soren embraces being the villain. But in a reality where destiny itself can be manipulated, the line between protagonist and antagonist blurs beyond recognition.

Power of Runes

Ash Burn was just an ordinary gamer—an orphan scraping by in the real world—until he accomplished the impossible: beating the hardest VR game ever created, Apocalypse Online. But instead of the promised riches, he’s thrown into another world—one eerily familiar. It doesn’t take long for Ash to realize where he is: the chaotic, doomed universe of Heaven’s Favorite: Wrath of Gods, a novel he once read. Worse, he’s not the protagonist or even a supporting character. He’s just an extra. Armed with fragmented knowledge of the future, an unyielding will to survive, and the secrets of the Runes—mysterious power coveted by gods and demons alike—Ash must outmaneuver a reckless hero, power-hungry angels, and an inevitable war that threatens to consume everything. But as he treads the fine line between altering fate and unleashing chaos, he begins to realize something chilling: the endgame may not be as simple as he thought. In a world where survival hinges on power and cunning, can an ordinary extra change the fate of an entire world, or will he become just another casualty of destiny? Was he ever just an extra to begin with? The Extra’s Survival: Logging into the Game Master System!

The Apocalypse descended as the world turned into a game. And while everyone panicked, I couldn’t help but wonder if there was something wrong with my eyes. [Logging into the Game Master’s Account!] And my ‘oh-so-average’ destiny, changed into ‘is this a cheat life?’ Kind of destiny. [Would you like to Create a Skill? GM Points will be consumed!] While others struggled to kill a single goblin, I was searching for stronger monsters. While they were happy with getting even a random weak skill, I was customizing what kind of skills I needed. Even my Talents and Gifts can be customised. The only limit was my imagination. Heck, even the hidden quests that people would trigger randomly were present in front of me even before the scenario began.  It wasn’t fair by any means. But isn’t that how life is already? [Would you like to make changes to the quests in the next scenario? GM Points will be consumed!] Is this how an apocalypse is supposed to be? I don’t know. I just tried following the script in front of everyone while trying out my cheat in hindsight. Don't get me wrong with the ‘pig eating tiger’ kind of thing. I just don’t like attention. I would rather stay with two trusted friends than with 10 fake ones. [Would you like to Initiate a Custom quest for the Players? GM Points will be consumed!] And for the players who were bullying the ‘weak’ me. One may even wonder how they ended up losing half of their stats and skills in a randomly triggered impossible type of quest.  Fate can be truly scary, you know?  One must always be careful of it.
