Qu Tan'er finished speaking with a smile and pulled Jing Xin to sidestep away.
"My name is Xiao Li," the man stated coldly.
"Oh, nice to meet you, farewell indefinitely," Qu Tan'er responded, not even bothering to look up at the person speaking.
"Wait, do I know you?" Xiao Li stared intently, his eyes deep, as if pondering something.
"You've mistaken me for someone else."
"I wasn't asking you."
"Eh?" Qu Tan'er blinked, finally turning to look directly at Xiao Li. She was momentarily taken aback—this man was incredibly… but why did he look familiar?
"Do I know you?" Xiao Li asked again, this time directing his question to Jing Xin as he stepped closer to her.
"I don't know you," Jing Xin replied flatly.
"Have we met before?" Xiao Li squinted, still focusing on Jing Xin.
"You've mistaken someone else, haven't you?" Qu Tan'er chuckled softly, cautiously pulled Jing Xin behind her, and whispered, "Jing Xin, do you owe someone silver and now they've come to collect the debt?"
