Thales, having seen off the guest ("You'll make him suffer a lot, right?" — Belicia asked with a meaningful tone before leaving), returned to the dungeon, facing a Losang II who obviously seemed different from before.
"I hear you've finally loosened up and want to see me?"
Losang II struggled to lift his head, his gaze piercing through his disheveled hair, first looking toward the person beside him:
"I only agreed to see you alone."
By Thales' side, Miss Cecilia Kevendill, whose mood was soured due to losing face ("Fine, your method works better than Hound-bone Yake's, are you satisfied now?"), crossed her arms and frowned, her tone threatening:
"Oh? Are you sure?"
Thales looked around, hastily trying to smooth things over:
"Uh, you see, Sherryl, if you're present, he isn't very willing, so perhaps..."
"I'm staying."
Sherryl was resolute, closing off any possibility.
Thales raised his eyebrows and quickly changed his tune:
"Alright then."
