After a moment of silence, Morris scratched his chin and looked at Thales with a strange expression.
"So you came all this way just to give me a political lesson?"
"You wanted answers," Thales said, putting down his fist and responding confidently, "and I'm giving them to you."
Morris surveyed the surrounding decorations and pondered for a moment before looking up again:
"If that's the case, then the answer is too far from us, unrealistic."
Thales smiled.
On the other side of the pharmacy, Yanni and Groff were whispering shakily to each other, while Golov was trying hard to calm down Cohen, who was eager to go up and grab Leyock.
But it was as if there was an invisible wall between them, and everyone respected an unspoken agreement not to cross over it or intrude upon the conversation between the Starlight Prince and the Brotherhood's gang leader.
