Thales narrowed his eyes and looked at Zayen who was trying his best to restrain himself, but the words of the Duke of Western Desert rang in his ears:

"Oh, is that so?" Thales asked coldly.
"So what you're telling me is, six years ago, the fact that you lent Vine Manor to Serena was 'caused by accidents'?"
"And you were 'compelled by circumstances' when you, after saying some kind words to me, let the Night Queen come after me?"
Zayen's expression started to turn unpleasant.
