On Starfall Year 834, the calendar commonly used by the continent, the Church of the Seven Gods had built an altar here constructing over the highest peak. With some of the architects being elves and dwarves, the Altar of Genesis—now known as the Great Altar—had countless distinguishing features of their respective civilizations.
As the religion of seventy percent of the continent's population, the founding place of the Church naturally became a holy land. Nonetheless, it has never known much peace.
