The ancient city was the center of the Sacred Territory. No one knew for exactly how long this city had existed, but it was spectacular. The magnificent, tall city wall was black, its metallic luster worn away by time, but it was still remarkable, and definitely worth paying attention to.
Gazing at the city standing within the walls, it looked like a giant beast settling down for a nap next to a mountain. Numerous marks on the city wall could be observed from the city gate. Some of them had been left by weapons, while others were scratches from animal paws. The wall was made of steel, but was not smooth or even. It was rough, but absolutely hard and solidly built. It was impossible for average people to leave marks on it.
