"Hold it!" a voice suddenly cut through the void. The one whom the voice belonged to was the short man standing next to the Venomous Ying World Deity.
Xue Ying looked over.
This short man was garbed in black, and his voice was bright as he said, "Your Highness Dong Bo, I have come under the orders of my clan master."
"Your clan master?" Xue Ying waved his hand to stop his subordinates. "Unless I'm mistaken, you are World Deity Dong Xiao, and your clan master is Monarch Wu Chen, right?"
"Indeed." The short man chuckled.
Monarch Wu Chen was a stage four World Deity and one of the Bamboo Mountain Prefecture Master's pupils.
However, it was widely known that Monarch Wu Chen was totally engrossed in his personal cultivation, so it seemed to make no sense that he would send someone to protect Venomous Ying World Deity. Xue Ying was puzzled at this turn of events.
