Xue Ying was already aware that the rich clans would often employ different type of gambling platforms. Other than the most commonly seen one, known as the bloody battle platform’s bloody battle, there were other kinds of betting such as in terms of beauties, or mutated beasts. The type known as the battle of beauty was amongst the more commonly seen ones, and it entailed each side sending out a beautiful woman, with no protective garb of any kind, who would fight using only the weapons they were provided with.
This type of battle would end once either side was injured, so it could already be considered quite ‘benevolent’, by comparison with the bloody battles of the mutated beasts, which would not end until one side killed the other.
