The creature was extremely ferocious, and a special weapon was required to hunt it down. Many lives had been taken before one could even be caught. Furthermore, with such a barren environment, people could no longer plant crops as the weeds would have prevented it. Thus, there was completely no grains available, and the villagers could only struggle to survive by hunting for their food.
To make matters worse, there was a blood rainfall once every ten days in this realm. The rain was highly corrosive to the extent it could destroy normal houses and even some of the caves. Only those houses protected by wizardry barriers were protected. Nonetheless, that was not their only threat. There was a flood of countless monstrous blood bats that sucked the blood from any living things in just a blink of an eye.
