Team China spent the night in this dilapidated small town, which, fortunately, was devoid of zombies. Given its location on the American border, far from the epicenter of the virus outbreak, residents might have had just enough warning to flee their homes, though it's unclear whether they headed to Mexico or deeper into the United States. For now, the town remained relatively safe.
But safety wasn't guaranteed. On their journey, the group of Americans had come across several towns like this one, finding ample food left behind—corn, potatoes, even rice, and a small amount of vegetables—allowing them to rest easy for a few days. However, soon after, crawlers quietly followed them, initiating a hunt. This painful lesson taught the Americans that staying in any one town for more than three days was risky. Tonight marked their third day here, so they planned to leave the following day.
