The white light emitted from the crystal ores illuminated the entire cavern, and deep within the shadowy cave, some figures intermittently flitted about—Cavern Dwellers!
These were the creatures that, once killed, could drop crystal ores!
Nie Yan and his group slowly retreated into the Crystal Cavern, relentlessly pursued by a group of Great Thieves.
Inside the cavern, there was a large open area. Allowing their pursuers in would become problematic; with Cavern Dwellers in front and the Great Thieves harassing from behind, Nie Yan and his group could end up caught in an ambush.
"They still won't leave, what should we do?" Blue Feather and the others asked Nie Yan, clearly unable to split their focus between guarding the rear and dealing with the monsters in front.
After thinking for a bit, Nie Yan said, "I'll lure the Cavern Dwellers over to block the entrance."
