The Black Lotus of Sin Domain was an incredibly important item to Dark Mystery, as it was linked to her ability to acquire a piece of Templar magic.
Asskickers United was in dire need of high-level skills, and even though Nie Yan had already instructed them to seek out more advanced magic, there were still too few who had mastered it. Items like high-level skills weren't something you could obtain overnight; the guild's foundation had to be built up gradually.
