Asura City followed the principles of natural selection and survival of the fittest.
Those with pure bloodline could become direct descendants and live with majesty in the upper region of Asura City and even become gods in time. They were unlike branch descendants, who had a ceiling of half god on their cultivation. If the branch descendants wanted to climb up and become direct disciples, they could only grab every opportunity to advance.
Just like a bit earlier when Asura City had issued two missions. One was to pretend to be Lakshmi City's soldiers and massacre mortals so that the survivors would develop disgust toward their old god and become more receptive toward a new one. The second was to search and capture the remaining part of Ancient God Lakshmi's soul, which would present them with the opportunity to become a god.
