From the very beginning, the door to the dimensional barrier was something beyond mortal comprehension.
This door wasn't actually a physical door. It was actually a conceptual existence formed from natural laws. Even though there was only one more step to pass over the barrier, the original residents of this world would forever be unable to take that step. No, more accurately speaking, they would be unable to even see the direction in which to step.
This was just like how fish couldn't leave water, or how humans needed to live on land. This didn't need any explanation. It was common sense; it was a natural law.
However, there were always exceptions to everything. There were certain special existences who could find loopholes in the natural laws and successfully leave the Eich universe.
But, nobody had ever returned…
That was because the invisible dimensional barrier was constructed to keep outsiders out rather than prevent people from going outside.
