Outside Shanhaiguan Pass, Changqing Village.
Hundreds of households, red brick and tile houses, crowded alleys and dirt roads, poplar forests and small river streams, wrapped in white frost during winter... This was its appearance in the past, away from the mundane world, independently peaceful, complementing the distant and desolate Changbai Mountains.
But since more than a decade ago, after Goddess Bai established her teachings here, Changqing Village has seen major constructions, antique architecture, and has become a transcendent and peculiar idyllic land.
