The Church of Satan, as the name suggests, is a religious sect that worships Satan. From its very name, it conjures the notion of a cult, but a closer analysis reveals there are many reasonable aspects to it.
The so-called cult should have two definitions: a truly evil anti-human organization; an organization that opposes the Vatican.
The second definition is quite interesting, merely disagreeing with the mainstream makes one a cult—even if their theories and actions are indeed extreme.
How we perceive the same thing from different angles leads to completely different conclusions. Take the Bible, for instance, where Satan became a serpent, tempting Eve to eat the forbidden fruit, bringing sin onto earth.
But if we look at it differently, Satan gave knowledge to mankind, enabling us to think, to differentiate good from evil, making us aware of the reality of the world...
