Saruman Snake was in group C of the five main groups. Out of the seeded teams, Maya Empire's Child of Light battle team was also in group C. And Wang Zheng's familiar "old friend," Student Lear, was also in this group.

Saruman Snake battle team's first opponent was Mossi Republic. This was a federation near Aslan. They basically survived because of their proximity to Aslan.
