Aisha remained silent.
Dudian smiled and held Aisha’s small hand. Although it was cold but he felt a familiar warmth. He held Aisha’s hand and slowly walked forward. They crossed the puddles on the road.
They walked side by side in the heavy rain. Dudian was talking to himself in the rain.
The dilapidated buildings on both sides of the road were like silent haunted houses. The collapsed holes were like deep eye sockets as they looked at the two people passing by, the walls were washed away by the heavy rain.
The rain came and went quickly.
The rain stopped in the blink of an eye. Only one or two drops of rain fell onto the muddy puddles on the road. It rippled and distorted the gray sky reflected in the puddles.
Dudian saw that the rain had stopped and put away the umbrella. He suddenly felt a bit cold on his shoulder. He turned his head and saw that his left shoulder was wet by the rain.
