The silver lining was that Lu Renhuang had come and Jiang Qiling and Prajna offered assistance. Otherwise, Lu Ling, Bai Qiuxue and the others would have gone to the dwelling place of the dead.
Lu Li looked around. He was relieved to see those mattered to him were still breathing. Noticing Jiang Qiling, Prajna and Great Grandfather Five, he felt a surge of warmth through his heart. They had come without hesitation even if the situation was difficult and potentially fatal. A friend in need was a friend indeed.
