In the end, Sima Chun decided to stop attacking since it was futile. Regardless of how hard he tried, he failed to breach Duan Ling Tian's defense.
"I've underestimated you," Sima Chun said before he turned his back on Duan Ling Tian and began to walk away.
"Did I say you're free to go?" Duan Ling Tian scoffed. His eyes narrowed as his Celestial Origin Energy that had been boosted by the law of earth's Earth Elemental Profundity spiked. His domineering aura spread to his surroundings immediately.
Upon hearing Duan Ling Tian's words, Sima Chun stopped in his tracks. He turned back and looked at Duan Ling Tian coldly. He said arrogantly, "I admit your defenses are so impressive that I couldn't breach them and kill you. Nonetheless, I'm much faster than you. How do you think you're going to kill me? It'd be easy for me to dodge your attacks. I can't kill you, but you can't kill me either..."
