Small streams of light make their way through the slightest closed curtains and onto the face ofbthe person laying on the "bed",or should I say the piles of wood with a spread out cloth she is sleeping on.
Catalaya woke up with a groan,not a lady like one.she checked the alarm clock and saw that it was almost the time when the rest of the family woke up.she jumped awake in shock and hurried towards the kitchen to make breakfast, angry at herself for waking up so late up.
If the Cooper family comes down and does not find their breakfast ready and waiting for them,they might get angry and punish or even beat her really badly.
For as long as she could remember,she has been told everyday that she is the daughter of a mistress and since her mother wasn't around any more,she had to pay for what her mother did.But catalaya knows that is not true.Her mother Anna Kendell was the madam of the Cooper family but her father Jeremy Cooper cheated on her from the very beginning.

While catalaya was said to be a mistake born of the scheming of a greedy mistress that was then killed of sickness. People stared saying that cats mom deserved it,and praise Jeremy for having such a kind heart to still keep her around them.
Ever since then , she has been reduced to no more than a servant that anyone could boss around. She managed to swerve through high school without comitting suicide form all the bullying instigated by her dear stepsister and thought she was strong enough to face college,but thenJeremy refused her of good to college and gave her good result to her stepsister Everlin to use.
And now she is a nineteen year old but still treated as nothing but a servant in her father's house.
