**CHAPTER 1**
A young girl was walking to school as heavy rain poured down, and bright lightning streaked across the sky, illuminating the surroundings.
"Grace, hurry up!" shouted one of the kids.
"Okay, I'm coming! Why do we always have to return the books?" replied another girl.
It was already 6:00 PM, and it was getting dark as the two girls walked out of school, carrying a small bag filled with princess costumes.
"You're lucky you get to play our role in the role-playing event. I want to be a princess too," said Sofia sadly.
"Don't worry, Sofia. There's always next year. Who knows, you might get to be the princess next time," Grace replied.
The girls ran as the rain poured even harder, soaking their costumes and themselves. In just a few days, a fun role-playing event would take place.
Sofia arrived home and said, "Mom, I want to wear a princess costume too! It's so frustrating that they made me a servant in the play."
"Sweetheart, not every time will you get what you want. Sometimes you have to learn to accept what is given to you. Besides, there will be other opportunities. You are my princess, and no one else. Don't worry, come on, let's eat," her mother replied.
And so, the mother and daughter happily shared their dinner.

**SOFIA'S POV:**
Oh no, my alarm didn't go off! I need to get ready for the upcoming performance tomorrow. We still have practice, so I have to prepare.
I got ready quickly because I might be late for our practice, but even if I am a little late, it shouldn't matter since I'm just playing a servant's role.
As I was about to leave the house, I suddenly received a message from our teacher:
"You will replace Grace; she can't perform due to a sudden illness."
I was overjoyed when I read the message from our teacher.
