'This is the life.' I thought as I enjoyed the wine given by the staff as my body had started to loosen up.
'Since when has my son liked to look at clouds? Well, as long as he's having fun & being safe, it doesn't matter what my boy does with his free time.' I thought. All the while, both of us clicked our glasses together as we sat there and chilled for once.
"Dad, did you see that shadow over there?" My son asked.
"What shadow?" I asked while sipping my wine.
"It looks like a dragon. No, it is a dragon. It's black & blue I think..." My son said while he kept looking at the window.
'How bored is he to imagine all that crazy stuff happening around us..' I thought while my wife's words interrupted my train of thought.
"I love you, Honey Bear." My wife said while blowing me a few kisses
"I love you too, Honey" I said while sending the same back towards my wife.
"Dad, look is coming closer" My son said.
"Ha Ha, very funny Lucas... It's a joke right..." I said as my son only gave me a blank expression as he turned away from me to keep looking at the window.
'Lucas just has an overactive imagination... This dragon business isn't real... James, you are a blacksmith first and a hunter second. When has your heart led you down the wrong path? Your heart was the thing that told you that our wife was our dream girl! SOMETHING IS VERY, VERY WRONG, JAMES!' I thought as I stopped talking to myself, trying to ask my wife again.
"Honey, I didn't sense anything... Are you sure you're not over thinking this?" My wife said while trying to dismiss my claims.
'I need to leave... We all need to leave, but where... I'm not crazy. My instincts are screaming at me to leave right now with my family. There's nowhere to even go on this plane with us being 40,000 feet above sea level from my wife's estimates.' I thought as my nerves felt like they were on fire.
"Dad, look, it's coming closer. I can see it over there. Do you see it?" My son said with excitement.
"Emma, do it again one more time!!!" I voiced it out loud, this time by accident. My instincts were screaming at me to run, but I didn't even know what to run from with my family.
She frowned a little before having a devastating look on her face.
She immediately left her seat to hug them both tightly in her loving arms.
"James, I love you. Lucas, my sweet baby boy, remember you're our pride and joy." My wife said as her tears kept flowing uncontrollably.
"Mom, why are you acting so weird, and why are you crying? Mom, Dad, look, the giant shadow is coming closer." Our son said as we both saw what he didn't see outside the window.
{{"Honey, it looks like the rumors were true after all. The beast is back!"}} I voiced my thoughts as we all looked outside the window, and my wife turned to me to smile weakly.
"No matter, we are together as a family. Honey, I hope heaven is as nice as the lege---" I didn't get to finish before the world around me changed immediately in the blink of an eye.
Their peace was gone, and their calm atmosphere was soon replaced with the sounds of the howling winds. They sliced and diced up everything around them in a maddening storm of metal, blood, and air!

The sudden flurry of wind blades tore apart the plane piece by piece as its former appearance was but now a thing of the past. The air smelled of iron, dust, and fresh meat as tiny red droplets made the skies their home alongside the raging fires nearby.
Over 95% of the passengers on board died instantly, but a boy and his family were unhurt by all this chaos, surprisingly.
A few screams could be heard in the distance from fellow passengers who survived the initial wave. Most of the survivors who weren't killed upon impact were soon killed by the debris fragments from the airplane while falling or died from their new wounds.
*"AWWW---."* A grown man screamed as they kept flapping their arms up and down in a cartoonish flying motion, but his attempts didn't slow his fall one bit.
*"Help....m-."* A black husk filled with cuts said with their reminding strength as they stopped moving shortly after.
*"MOM WHERE ARE YOU! DAD IS RIGHT NEXT TO ME!"* A small child said as they held a large masculine arm near them for dear life, not knowing the owner of that arm wasn't attached to it any longer.
*"LADY EVERNIGHT, PLEASE SAVE ME! I'M SORRY PLEASE SAVE ME, MY GODDESS!"* A lady said as she put her hands together in a praying motion
Out of 240 people on the plane, 228 were killed instantly. Of the 12 people left, 3 of them were kept safe in a mysterious pink bubble, while the rest were subjected to the next coming incidents.
*BOOM*
*BOOM*
"Who am I... Where am I..." A man said as he started to scream as he noticed he was missing both his legs and left arm.
*AWWWW*
Soon enough, the man's screams were silenced as his head was impaled by a random metal fragment.
*~Whizz~*
Four more died from their injuries mid-fall, three from the plane fragments launching into their bodies. Only five people remained, with only three people remaining uninjured from the accident. The other two had multiple broken bones with burns and scratches all over their bodies.
Those left were barely even alive at this point with all their injuries. It had only been two minutes since the initial incident occurred. All of this chaos was caused by the appearance of dozens of wind blades assaulting the airplane out of nowhere.
The last two victims that laid outside the pink bubble had long stopped moving. The last two along with the fires nearby had all stopped moving by that time.
It all grew eerily silent, with only the sounds of the winds brushing up against this mysterious pink bubble!
