The Grand War between humans and mythical creatures was thankfully stopped by the Unified Government under which the New World was unified as a planet ruled by the same government. The government consists of humans, Mythics (Mythical creatures), and half humans or half Mythics (whichever they identify as). Under the Unified Government all races live in harmony in a modern, technology equipped world. The planet, known as "New World" is divided into continents. The Eastern continents "Andeles" full of forests, rainforests are natural treasures and are home to forest dwelling Mythics and humans including pixies, fairies, nature spirits, nymphs, were-animals (mostly werewolves and weretigers), fox spirits and everything in between. Climate varies between temperate to hot so tech is mostly solar powered.
The Western Continents "Fruulus" are mostly rocky cliffs and vast mountains home to dragons of all sorts and other miscellaneous creatures. The place has its own natural charm.
The Northern Continents "Syeron" are glacial and cold with freezing climate regions. Yetis, snow spirits, snow fairies, white fox spirits inhabit it.
The Southern Continents "Likos" are deserts and barren lands though Ghost Towns are also found here.
Spread among all the continents are portals to spirit realms and multiple magic dimensions. Not much is known about them but research is ongoing.
The water bodies are all called the "Deep Sea" home to spirits, mermaids, water dragons, nereids are other creature. Advanced technology has enabled humans to live in underwater cities.
In the center of the planet lies the Floating Continent, called the main city ( though it is the size of a continent but due to advancement in tech the meanings of distance being redefined it is commonly accepted as a city) called Qalb . It is home to the planet's government along with being the center of trade and tech. It is a bustling trade hub. It is inhabited by both humans and Mythics. Visitors from other planets land first here in the citys international airport. The city floats slightly above the sea
The planet is protected by a magical barrier from foreign invasions
It may be noted that in all continents various sub-governments also exist. Such as in Deep Sea partriarchal and matriarchal kingdoms rule. The Eastern Continents mostly consist of tribes and and communities which are not based solely on a single race of Mythics or humans. In the same way aristocratic families rule the Western Continent.
The Southern and Northern Continents are solely under the Unified Government. In all these cases the local governments cooperate with the Unified Government and their representatives are placed everywhere.
Power and energy issues are nearly non existent given that vast amounts of energy is produced through magic and efficiency rate of 98.26% has been successfully achieved.
